Delicious Delicious Delicious! They really have great food! Catfish and Cheese Grits are seasoned prefect! The chicken biscuit... is the best! The warm vanilla cinnamon biscuit is delicious as well as the sweet tea! Seriously they are a hidden gem and theyhave a drive-thru! They have a Big chicken corporate competition that shares the same entry way into the area but you?ll thankyourself if you make the left instead of the right! The folks are friendly! You will have to wait a few minutes for the catfish(which is preferred) because that lets you know it?s just not sitting there or being warmed up after you order. My picture does not do their food justice. I live in CA and have been trying to find the perfect biscuits and gravy. Came to... visit family and this place was in short words, fantastic. I only wish they had one in CA to satisfy my craving. The people weregreat and the service was fast. The biscuit was warm and buttery, gravy was amazing, and the chicken was so juicy. This was our first time trying 1911 and we were really impressed! We showed up at 12:30pm on a Sunday and did not realize that... breakfast ends at noon. They were really nice and gave us a few breakfast options we could still try. We got chicken and cheesebiscuits and home taters. Had breakfast here, and decided to dine in. The atmosphere of the restaurant had decor of military/police items. Pretty nice... overall. You order your food on the counter, and they will bring you your food afterwards. Food comes out pretty quick! Thebiscuits are pretty huge! Employees don't seem to be required to wear masks if that is a concern for you. Patrons are free towear a mask or not. Great breakfast to try out! I'd recommend to give it a shot over the Chick-fil-A next door. Read more
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere centrally welcoming, however, the food could use some work. The chicken sandwich was... done right. It was a bit thin as a patty but otherwise full of flavor. The fries were served soggy. I sent them back and orderedsome more. Those ones were better, but still could have been more crispy. They were seasoned well though. The salad nice, but Ithink they could have seared the grilled chicken better. The sweet tea was probably made with double the sugar it should havebeen made and made it far less enjoyable even when diluted with half water. What a great find! Their burgers are out of this world juicy and delicious. I got their burger of the month, the Steak House... Burger. It's a 1/4 lb. Angus burger topped with sautéed onions, balsamic reduction, goat cheese, spring mix and their ownburger sauce. It was so finger licking good! Friends got a chili cheese burger, black bean burger, and smoked brisket burger.They devoured their burgers! Their fries were delicious and seasoned well. I would have liked it a lite bit crunchier but Istill enjoyed what I had. The staff were very friendly! We will be back! Read more
