I decided to order take out from here & was quite surprised by the establishment. The outside of the establishment does it no... justice as a preface of their interior. They have a lovely, spacious dining area & bar that makes you feel like you?re in a5-star restaurant. The staff that works that are very personable, friendly & accommodating. I ordered the house salad & addedsalmon. It was so good I came back the next day to order it again. Definitely recommend stopping by to dine-in. They havekaraoke nights & an outdoor patio. Read more
3.5 Stars if I could give it. Visited 3x. Once was takeout, once was dine in, and the last was drinks (dessert was a bust). #1... -Take out was during COVID and the food was not great. Greens, max and cheese, a curry dish, don't remember what else. Weweren't happy with really anything. Wasn't super excited about visiting again but it was chosen by a coworker for a farewellparty. #2- Visit was dine in and I avoided the foods I knew from previous exp weren't good and tried the oxtail (friends dish)and nachos. The oxtail was good and my nachos with the pulled pork and homemade cheese sauce were very good. Service was great.Drinks were a hit around the table and everyone got 2nds. My 2nd drink though had sour and coagulated heavy cream that ruined mydrink. The exp was generally good, so I didn't mention that. It was also a Wednesday with Music Bingo and that was a really funtime. Decided all that was a reason to bring another group and give a 3rd visit. #3 - Dessert, drinks and bingo planned visit.Brought family this time. Drink menu was being revamped, so nothing to view and only 3 of the desserts on the menu wereavailable so our plan was thwarted. No desserts we wanted. But 3 of us did have drinks and they were decent. Bingo wasgreat. All in all, the space is good and with better consistency in availability and taste of food, this could be an amazingevent location. It could even be the go-to with live entertainment esp because Smyrna doesn't have much in the way of this, butI am unsure if it will be because I feel like it's hit or miss with the food. Read more
visited there while camping at Blackbird State Forest. it was a real gem to find in DE or anywhere for that matter. i know... people in the washington metro area that would travel there just for the down-home laid-back vibes from the establishment. iwould suggest to the management that they offer a list of drinks - it would be beneficial to the customers and would give anopportunity for some signature cocktails that could make y'all more money :) oh, and please toss the onion rings :( can't waitto go back!! Attended a comedy show and had the best time ever. The restaurant is very cozy and food was amazing. Great place for happy... hour. The owner and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. Super friendly atmosphere. Great crowd. My husband and I willdefinitely be back on a weekly basis. Read more

Let's give a real review about this restaurant. Having been born an raised in new york I was pressed to find good soul food in... this area. I have eaten at this place 2 times and on the first time I do not recommend the curry chicken. It's undercookedand has no curry flavor. The oxtails are good depending on what day you go. Do not order the so called beef fajitas because itis nothing but a little bland ground beef in a tortilla wrap ( pics below). I'm giving a 3 star for decent atmosphere and beingable to use discount coupons for the food. I support them because they are black owned but I feel they can do better than whatthey have been serving. That Blue mountain curry chicken needs to be better. I feel people should go and decide forthemselves and look for the discount coupons to offset the price just in case you are disappointed. Awesome hidden gem in Delaware. The Food is amazing and the Chef is Phenomenal my hubby and myself were definitely impressed. Im... mad i never stopped in until yesterday as much as i frequent the night spots. This is a favorite spot for me now. DJ Tim playedall the right music the vibe is definitely grown folks business. The bar is amazing has everything to drink. Ashley and all thestaff amazing. Im definitely going become a regular. Can you host a private event if so definitely need contact info asap. Food is terrible. I ordered the oxtails I had 3 on my plate with a whole lot of watered down gravy. My rice was cold and old. I... took it to the owner. I received alot of rolling of the eyes then the waitress was upset because I sent it back. Service ishorrible food is disgusting. The only thing good is the music. Eat before you come. Read more
