I've passed by this place numerous times and finally came past it when it was open. I stopped in to try a sausage sandwich. It... was delicious! It would have been better with cheese and eggs, but they ran out of eggs before I got there. I will just have totry again another day. Read more
So today my wife stopped and got like 3 sandwiches and a platter for my kids.... My one sausage sandwich had EGG SHELLS all... through out the sandwich WHICH RUINED IT.. .. The scrapple they give you is absolutely horrible and had to have been old becauseit definalty was not the NORMAL LOOK AT THE PICTURES... THERE are typical lines to get in mornings and weekends.. limited openschedule. they have link sausage, scrapple( hit or miss ) bacon, on bread or rolls with American or cheddar cheese. Extremely small area to eat, however the entire place has a very homie feel to it. The food is absolutely incredible, and they... staff is very certain that you will come back. With good reason too, unless you're vegan, then I don't think you wouldappreciate the place at all. However I don't figure a vegan is going to go to a "sausage House". Definitely the best place fora sausage and egg breakfast, and I'm sure there are other foods are delicious as well. Read more
I feel this place is over rated. I have lived in Delaware, my entire life, and never tried this place. I finally decided to... stop in because people are always raving about it. First of all, there is barely any parking, the building is tiny, the linewas long, and they wait on one customer at a time, fulfilling their order, before taking another order. They were out ofeverything, for the day, and it was only 9 am. Not worth the hassle. Over rated. I will stick with the diner. Read more
