After hearing one recommendation after another from family and friends we finally got to try Osteria Umbra for a special... occasion and it lived up to expectations. Our waitress, Jennifer, was charming and professional; she made us feel welcome and athome like the rest of the staff who took time to offer celebratory wishes and make spot on menu recommendations. The fresh breadwas fantastic as was the signature pasta dish. The swordfish and pistachio crusted Chilean sea bass were perfect and thedesserts to die for. This place is a MUSTT GO TO. I’m a huge foodie and let me say the experience/ hospitality is 5 stars itself. The food melts in... the mouth with flavors that I can guarantee you’ve never tasted before. Everything is juicy, delicious, and cooked perfectly.You will not be disappointed. My wife and I decided to celebrate our birthdays with a special dinner at Osteria Umbra and we are glad we did. The restaurant... was spotless with warm and inviting decor. The staff was very well trained, friendly and made us feel welcome. The menu was veryinteresting and diverse. The bone in rib-eye and Chilean sea bass were both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We tried thepasta special served table side in a Parmesan wheel which was fantastic. Even the side order of Brussels sprouts with guancialiwas amazing. Our only complaint was the hostess ignoring us when we arrived but was quickly rectified by chef Marco.
