Food was okay, for the price though you do get a lot. But didn't seem like any of the meat was seasoned. Waiter was nice, ... but food took a little long. Went in for our daughter's birthday dinner. Food, as always, was great. Drinks were wonderful. The sombrero and the happy... birthday song by waitstaff was muy bueno. But my wife and I both ordered beef and got chicken. I ordered a quesadilla rellenaand got the identical dish to what she was served. We didn't say anything because the food was good and our choices are sort ofarbitrary anyway and make little difference to satisfaction. But it did cause a bit of wonderment on how they could have gottenit so wrong. Read more

I am apalud at what I have experienced at this place. We sat down at 810pm and ordered food and drinks at the same time. A... group of 8 came in about 20 mins after us and sat. We waited another 15 mins and still no food. I asked the supposed managerWe have been waiting almost 40 mins and we haven't gotten our food. He goes to the back only to come back with food for thetable of 8. My 4 kids were the last to be served. When asked how this happen...the response I dont know you didn't order fastenough. I asked for the owners name refused to give it to me so I could discuss my interaction with them and displeasure ofservice and treatment. Don't know what has happen to this place but do not go here if you are not of nationality as the serviceand treatment is vastly different! Read more

Went for Taco Tuesday hoping to get in and out like most Mexican restaurants. After only ordering Tacos and waiting over an... hour, only to see 6 tables seated, waited on and served, we left and went to Wendy?s. Waiter kept informing us it is coming.When we informed the waiter we were leaving and would pay for our tea and water, he let us know they were preparing our food.Sorry, TOO LATE. Their tomatillo sauce doesn't have tamarind/is pretty tame. The carnitas burrito was good but the carnitas had too much steam...... Like flash steamed... First taste of them I got was just steam hot meat... After they cooled, not too bad but won't do theburrito again. The chile relleno was AMAZING... The sauce & the CHEESE! In fact I'll be back solely because they Queso heretastes better than the majority of places in the Hampton Roads! Gave me flavor profiles reminiscent of California when I grew upin San Diego...
