Excellent food and customer service. Especially enjoy the Friday Catfish special. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This was my first time eating here. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich on a bun, fries and a soda. I wasn't aware the chicken... breast was not boneless. It was a bit of a shock biting into the first bone. After another bite into more bones I was a bitdisappointed. As for flavor, it was OK. Nothing to get excited about. This is just my opinion. July 21. 2022 I called in a order for some BBQ sandwichs. The girl who answered the phone, screwed up my sandwichs. I asked of... no slaw on the sandwichs and put it on the side. Had my birthday dinner here I was so happy ! Searched for three hours for a place and this was it ! Pulled pork was probably... the best I have ever had in my life ! Fried chicken was moist and juicy ! Cooked to perfection ! I can say enough how you needto stop here if traveling south ! It?s worth a drive ! Now the service was beyond exceptional ! No frills - but fast service from a wonderful full menu of daily specials, with your choice of meat and two vegetables! From... their daily special for Monday, I chose their hamburger steak with "mashed" tater tots (really good!) and their brunswick stew. My friend got their fried pork chops with green beans (seasoned with pork) and potato salad. I posted pics of both. I got the BBQ and fish platter and was not disappointed especially with the portions o rBBQ and fish (bass). Talk about... generous! Both the potato salad and coleslaw are what I would consider traditional no frills recipes but it reminded me of homeand that's not a bad thing. Definitely worth the stop if heading in/out north of Smithfield. Read more
