I personally am a big fan of The Waffle House, especially the one in Clayton. I was not at all impressed though with the Waffle... House in Smithfield. It was not busy during my visit but to say the place was dirty would be an understatement. They had plentyof help but was very very short on service. I'm not anxious to return. Read more
Very nice humans, friendly and fast. However-my order was wrong. I ordered BURNT hash browns with mushrooms (capped and chunked)... and ham. My HB were Irish-just potatoes. They barely had a tan. No shrooms,no ham. Toast also white (lol-pun intended) insteadof wheat. Order was to-go so I could not provide immediate feedback. Otherwise clean, happy workers, good food late! Read more
My husband and I ate at this Waffle House8/13/22. Not busy at all . Waitress brought our waters and took our orders. The cook... actually brought food to table. She was polite. The server didn't do anything other than take order. At that time the cook wentoutside and sat in her car and smoked. When she came inside she never washed her hands. She put on gloves and started cookingfor another customer. Even though she put on gloves she should have washed hands. She touched the outside of gloves with dirtyhands in order to put them on. We each got 2 eggs , bacon , grits and toast. We drank water. Bill was 21.50. Menu price wascheaper. I think we were overcharged. Read more
We try to dine in at 2am on Sunday 3 july. When about to enter a good size white worker man told us that we can park around them... cuz our truck with trailer using many spaces and is about rush time. So we went across at the gas station for snack and drinksand rest for few minutes. At 2:35 we passed by again and still only 2 customers/ 2 cars and the worker seated on the sidewalkwith other coworker, at rush hour? He just kicked us for nothing and lost customers. Read more
