I had the Denver skillet for breakfast. It was alright. But it wasn't a skillet as it came on a plate that they had just put in... the oven. It was all potatoes, with maybe 10 tiny pieces of ham, a couple slices of mushrooms and a teaspoon of onions and thenhad some cheese melted on it with a couple fried eggs thrown on top. Just wasn't what I was expecting. The service was also notthe greatest. I felt like the servers were doing their best, but they seemed too busy doing all the other stuff required to runthe place, the tables weren't clean, we didn't get cutlery, and when we asked for some it took like 5 minutes. It took probably10min to get drinks, the other server came and asked us what we would like to drink because it was taking so long. I felt wewere ignored as customers and when we tried to ask for things it was difficult to get their attention. I had to walk up to thebar to ask for more ketchup and our drinks were never refilled. But in saying all of that, the 2 of them did look very busydespite there not being a lot of customers. So I think the problem is from higher up. I would probably go somewhere else forbreakfast if I had the choice. But the food isn't terrible. The experience is just kind of disappointing. Read more
I don't know how this place stays afloat, went there for breakfast as it was right there, however I would suggest anywhere but... here , the pricing and food portion size along with pretty bad service. Would never go back nor would I ever recomend it. Read more
Arrived on Mother's day to have a late brunch at 11:45am and they informed us breakfast was over?! What is that about? And on... Mother's day? LAME! This explains why this restaurant does so poorly compared to the other options in town. Read more
Let me start off by saying, this is one of the best breakfast places in Smithers. I travel to Smithers quite a bit for work, so... I?ve tried a few places... nothing like this one. Their Steel cut oatmeal is a delight and also the veggie omelette! Not justthe food, the ambience is also very good for a small town. Read more
Dropped in while my vehicle was getting serviced and the food was excellent. The one waitress was kept busy but still took care... of everyone. Full Covid protocols were in place and followed. Will definitely be back. Read more
I visited here during a business trip to Smithers. I had gone to the restaurant multiple times. The first time the waiter took... my drink order and clearly forgot. Another waitress notice me sitting for quite awhile and asked id even been helped. I told herI had ordered a drink but never got it and I was ready to have my order taken. Again, left sitting waiting for food, never wasasked how everything was and then took along time before I got my bill. I thought it was a one off, Came back the next day..slightly better service, but was surprised to hear that the waiter from the day before was actually the Manager. I thought I?dgive it one last try, Unfortunately, this time I was very concerned to see waiter/ manager over serving two girls who went up tothe bar ( already clearly drunk ) and proceeded to serve them a total of 5 tequilas each. As I sat there waiting for my order,then waiting for my food. I saw him proceeding to serve them many rounds to their table, to the point the group of girls wereyelling and over sharing personal information... the drinks kept pouring and being delivered to the table. One man at the barmentioned to the waiter that it was a lot of alcohol he was serving the girls. His response was ? I know, I just miss seeingpeople have fun.. their having fun. ? At one point he was laughing with another customer about how drunk the girls where. Assomeone who managed a restaurant for a few years, I was pretty shocked. I was there for less then a hour and seen the two girlsconsume about 8-10 shots. Not to mention what ever they were served before I was seated. Very disappointed. Read more
Food is good and most the staff is super nice! However I had this server I believe her name was Chelsea... she really needs to... be wearing larger shirts and maybe looser pants. I did NOT enjoy my meal being ruined by seeing her stomach hanging out. Wouldnot get this service where I?m from, and I would expect it held up in other parts of BC as well. Read more
I was here recently and food is amazing! Service is also great as well. Bojan is amazing server / bartender.
