Ordered well done burgers for pickup. Got home with the food to find one of the burgers was nearly raw. Driving back to the... restaurant was not worth it as it was already 8:00 pm and it?s 15 minutes away. I called to express my dissatisfaction. Themanager apologized and refunded the cost of one burger and said she was attaching a $20 gift card to our acct (by our phonenumber) on a future purchase for the inconvenience. We thought this was reasonable and decent customer service. We accepted theapology and her offer. However, when we returned a few weeks later to claim the gift card, we were told by the owner that themanager had terminated and there is no record of any complaint of the food nor any ?gift card,?implying that I was lying.Moreover, according to the smug owner, they cook all burgers to order and as a policy, they don?t give anything more than arefund. I would recommend the owner consider a lesson in customer service from the terminated manager. We?ll take our businesselsewhere, I suggest you do the same. Read more
I rated it 3 stars because the food wasn't that good. I got really sick after eating there. Service and atmosphere was good. But... to have a successful restaurant you need great food. Read more
We visited Roux on Fri 6/24/22 5:30pm. A few people at the outdoor tables but we headed to the bar. What a surprise to see... Ronnie, formerly of Sam's, behind the bar. Always had great service from Ronnie at Sam's and he helped us navigate our firstvisit to Roux. The owner, Angie Teller is another former Sam's employee. As more patrons arrived we were still the only ones atthe bar. Ronnie poured our first drinks and told us they were happy hour (4-6pm) prices $5 ea. - good for us.He gave us menusand explained the specials. I had the HH special oysters on the half shell $2. each - Nice. My bride had the fresh & coolburrata & tomato salad w/ grilled chicken ($21) which she enjoyed very much. Note: Chicken, shrimp, salmon, or steak can beadded to any salad. I had the shrimp & grits ($26) very full of flavor and a generous portion. And for dessert a 2nd round ofdrinks. Total $81. A must try for 4+ people is their cheese & charcuterie board ($32)-we saw it on the way to a table, next timefor sure. Nice ambience for a bigger place. Ordered two NY Strip Steaks that came out at room temperature. No offer to discount or fix the problem when the manager was... informed. At $36 each, he reluctantly gave a discount of $8 on each steak only after being approached and was rude. My dinnersalad also hit the table after the steak came. Waitress was nice. Manager was not. Enjoyed a delicious flavorful dinner at Roux. We sat at the bar and the bartender is lovely. We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday and... by 5pm there was a steady flow of people coming in. They have great specials daily so I recommend trying! Also the bathrooms arespotless! Read more
Great service, we were definitely taken care of well! The food was delicious and you definitely get your money's worth. Whoever... is cooking the food cares for quality ingredients and it shows. My only gripe is the mediocre beer list, but this wouldn't stopme from going back! Read more
Ate here about 4 years ago and literally can?t stop thinking about it. Had a Groupon to go here with my husband and got a... tomahawk steak, garlic mashed potatoes, chicken skin fries and crispy Brussels sprouts that I?ll never forget.
