Y?all? I?m not gonna lie, I wasn?t expecting jack from an Italian restaurant in Slidell, Louisiana but damn was I blown away. I... got the chicken parmigiana- like $12. Like I said, wasn?t expecting much. Try absolutely amazing. The chicken was perfectlyfried, no joke, juicy inside, and stayed crispy. Never got even slightly soggy. The marinara sauce was obviously homemade andfresh. The pasta was cooked perfectly and sopped everything up. The dish was finished with sizzling fresh mozzarella and freshherbs. Love this place for breakfast and just discovered they do dinner Thursday thru Saturday even though website says differently.... Small and quaint. Spinach artichoke app was very good. Chips have to be made in house as they were excellent for the app. Thesalads that came with the meal were simple and good, but the fresh croutons made the salad. My veal marsala was very good withfork tender veal. My guest requested a sauce for her dish she had years ago and the chef said he could do that even though itwasn't on the current menu. My guest raved about her sauce Alyssa. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 of lack of a wine listto go with the quality food. They have wine, just not a list and selections.
