It is hard to go wrong with seafood in this part of the world. However, some still standout, like this one. I had a oyster and... shrimp poboy. It was massive and delicious. The shrimp were good and the bread was excellent. The oysters were the part thatreally stood out. They were fried to perfection. I am not a local, so I had never even heard of Kenney's Seafood. Let me tell y'all something...if you want some exquisite... seafood with healthy portions and great pricing, LOOK NO FURTHER! Kenney's is your place! Everything was superb, and theservice was amazing! I will be sure to stop by Kenney's next time I'm in town. If you do not like seafood, there are otheroptions. First time eating in the restaurant here. Very disappointed as I have bought seafood from here at the market several times. I... ordered the seafood platter and fully expected it to be as pictured online and on the menu. Unfortunately my experience was notsomething I would want anyone else to experience. My number was called and when I went to the counter to retrieve it a papersack was pushed towards me. I was bewildered because I did not place a to-go order, I was eating in. When I informed them ofthis the little blonde girl rolled her eyes and snatched the bag up and threw it to a table in the kitchen. I guess they thenproceeded to literally DUMP all the contents out on a tray and someone brought it out to me. The pictures clearly show howpitiful and disappointing the so-called "platter" was!! Shrimp were cold and hard, overcooked, I had one sliver of catfish, andwhat was supposed to be my soft shell crab looked like just a shell, though of what I couldn't tell. The boudain balls wereburnt! I should have followed my first instinct and asked for my money back but I was so hungry and frustrated at that point Idecided to eat my sliver of fish and a couple of the greasy, over breaded oysters and just call it a day. As I was trying to eatwhat I could of this Trainwreck, the rude little blonde girl came into the dining room and began loudly scooting the metalchairs across the floor and slamming things around on tables. Needless to say that I will NOT be going back to eat there everagain. The service was horrible and the food even worse. I usually go to Pearls for the seafood platter but decided to giveKennys a try because my in-laws like it. Pearl's is definitely better, in every way. Read more

This spot was recommended by our swamp tour captain. Wow! We ordered 3 pounds of crawfish and the ordered another pound. We got... an oyster plate too. The oysters were larger than chicken nuggets!! The staff was friendly and service was quick. A greatexperience for us. Read more
Bomb oysters and fresh seafood, the poboys are solid. I would recommend grabbing some oysters and a few beers then finish off... with a half and half fully dressed split with friends. Looking at all the seafood next door is fun times and the prices seemfair. Read more
Kenny?s has the best and most fresh seafood poboys in Slidell! They also have a fresh seafood market attached to the other side... of the restaurant! I have attached photos of the beautiful building and signage! Also included are pictures of the fresh seafoodmarket with some of their spices! Love the shark with the human head in it?s mouth!
