Best margaritas in town! Food is good and service is great.....only complaint, kids menu is a little light.
We were traveling from North Carolina to Texas and really wanted some Mexican food. Luckily Carretas was in easy walking... distance of our hotel. The servers were awesome! The food was decent. They already warned me these guys are fast, and they are indeed. Not even 5 min after my order, my dish was served. Taste was... not too bad, could have been a bit more of the good steak inside my fajita. Frozen margarita was good. Place was quiet but i wasthere at a Monday evening. Prices very fair. Read more

11-3-10 Sunday evening. Normally I really like this place. Today the service was extremely subpar. The food was good. The... location was clean enough. The restaurant wasn?t as clean as I would like it to be but it was not nasty if that makes sense. Thewaiter was MIA most of the time. Refills on the drinks were few and far in between. I had to get up and go look for the waiterto pay my bill. I would return to this location but I would avoid going to the waiter I had. Read more
