Coming from big cities, their recipes are very basic and lacking flavor. Coffee is weak to taste, croissants mediocre and... muffins do not taste much just flour. Would be great to see the only bakery in town up their recipes and increase in flavor alltheir intems. Read more
Great homemade sandwiches and desert. $30 for hubby and I included a great homemade sandwich, 2 huge pieces of pie and a chai... tea latte and regular coffee. Great food that cost no more than lunch at a fast food restaurant. Great relaxing decor as welland the A/C was refreshing not freezing like a lot of places. Will definitely go again, maybe try their breakfast offerings. Read more

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Fix Coffee the other day. Fix is located on one of the more attractive streets downtown... and is super easy to find. Inside you will find a typical urban coffee shop. It has a fairly rustic interior with art ondisplay from local artists. The floor definitely needs some repair, so this isn?t going to be a five-star experience, but it?scomfortable enough to enjoy a meal with a friend. I ordered the bacon and egg croissant and it was delicious. My chai lattewas also one of the best I?ve ever had ? considerably better than Starbucks. Clearly, the owners have put their greatest effortinto the quality of their food and it shows. If I was rating this place on food alone it would be an easy five stars. Theservice was just ok. I was served by a teenaged boy who was diligent and civil, but nothing more. You can tell when someone isgenuinely happy to serve you and who takes pride in their work. You can also tell if someone is just doing a job that they getpaid to do. This is ultimately a weakness in management. You can use coercion to face an employee to be polite, but you willnever get anything more. Instead, to get the best from your people, you need to lead by inspiration. To get service that comesfrom the heart, you need leadership that comes from the heart. Read more
