Mushroom Swiss burger was great. Local beer was good. Paula's panini was good just a little dry.
We arrived for our 7pm reservations. We did not get our food till 8:30. The waitress was very rude she accused us of not getting... appetizers and that's why we went so long without food. People came in after us and got their food before us. Half of the foodthat we wanted was gone. Read more
When in Maine, I like to order Lobster as much as possible. And with that, other seafoods are ordered! Grabbed the Lobster... Ravioli in Lobster Bisque! Very unique and never had Lobster ravioli made with Lobster bisque as the base. Excellent Flavor,lots of lobster. Appetizers: Fried Breaded Haddock with a spicy cajon sauce. Super flavorful and nice kick in thesauce! Mussels in Garlic sauce to die for: Cooked perfectly, usually places overcook mussels. The sauce is what drives thisdish though with excellent balance of butter and garlic with chunks of peppers and onions that soak all this up. Nice pub style atmosphere. Greeted at door by hostess and had a 10 minute wait to be seated for lunch so she offered us to sit... at the bar. Very small place with seating on the deck however it was raining outside so we sat upstairs. The waitress was verypleasant and attentive without being overbearing. A great variety on the menu! We had buffalo wings as an appetizer which weredelicious. For lunch it was a steak sandwich with beer battered fries and a chicken sandwich with handcut fries, both meals wereperfect. The wide and I each had Haddock Chowder in bread bowls and it was awesome. The onion rings we're good too. The Allagash White... and Sam's Winter Lager were nice and cold. Read more
