I had the Tikka salad. It was fresh and tangy. One of most flavorful salad I've had. It has vinegar and olive oil mixed with... seasoning for dressing. I spoke to a lady staff (owner?), she was passionate about her food being authentic. She was proudserving her food. I would come back again and again. Price is reasonable and the place is clean. Got the veggie platter set and chicken kebab ????... entree ????Veggie platter came with baba ganoush, hummus, falafels and tablouleh. Really authentic and eggplants werechargrilled before blending together. Really smokey ????For the chicken kabobs we got couscous instead of rice. And omg I thinkthey make it with chicken stock, it was super flavorful and fluffy. Chicken was done just right , grilled to perfection Ireally wanted the baklava but they ran out of it since we got there around 8:30pm The coolest part is the owners are superservice oriented. They make sure they check on you and your food is done the way you like it. They have a family history inSyria, turkey, and Iraq, and both him and her sister grew up in Chicago. The food was amazing and the host was very good. The complementary lentil soup that came out first was hands down the best... flavors of lentil soup I tasted so far. If they ask if you want some sauce in between the naan. Say yes. It?s a thin layer ofadditional pop of flavor. The entree was cooked and seasoned properly as well. Would definitely go again! We stumbled upon this gem while running errands in Skokie. We had a late lunch on a week day and had the place to ourselves. I... ordered the lunch special that had chicken, beef and falafel over rice with baba Ganouj and hummus. It was a ton of food and sodelicious. My husband order a chicken shawarma with fries. His was really good and the chicken had amazing flavor. The frieswere hand cut. The server was friendly and attentive. She told us that we have to try the grilled fish next time.
