Yeah, not a fan. From the road it looked fun, but they poked us in the back forgot about us. It took forever to get drinks or... even order. When the food finally came, we were missing stuff and nobody checked on us or seemed to care. After way too long weask for the bill and left. I got the feeling this was more of a local's only kinda place. We were obviously with a large cruiseship and I get it - that made everyone busy, but if you are 'too' busy just say so. We could go some place else. Don't poke usin the back and not do anything. We were hungry and had a ship to catch. You must know that. We aren't local and you can see theship from your front step. It's ok, nothing spectacular. OK food, ok service, cool decorations with dollar bills all over the walls. They have pool table... available. There's no wifi available. The food is mostly bar food like burgers and things like that. Had a grilled cheesesandwich. Was good but I worksheets go back. Again, not bad just not great either. Read more

Me and my husband ate here for the first time. Place was nice and clean. We ordered fish and chips 3 pcs for $22.00 and $4 for a... glass of rootbeer. We always order Fish and Chips in other restaurants and the servings are huge. I ate one and my husband gets2. I'm kinda dissappointed how small their serving was for that price. It's like 3inches of fish strips and the fries looks likeof a large fries from McDonald's. To be fair, it tastes good. Read more
We were late, and the kitchen was closed. We were fine by that. We were aiming for drinks anyway. We were sitting by the bar... welcomed by the local patrons while bartenders busied serving other regulars. It was loud. It was vibrant! People were having agreat time cheering, shouting, taking shots and sharing stories. Alaskans were happy to see their ?brothers and sisters ?fromWhitehorse and we were happy to finally be in Skagway after a long three years. Great vibe! Read more
Really cool place! They offer quite a substantial menu and have lots of delicious beer. The bartender was personable and... fast! We had a really nice time chatting with other tourists and some friendly locals. We recommend that you stop by BonanzaBar & Grill. Don't forget to try the Spruce-tip beer, it's delicious. Read more
