Waterfront is a sort of blink and you may miss it restaurant located a little north of Sister Bay. It's neatly tucked in between... a condo and a Mexican restaurant, but the food and ambiance suggest anything but being a hide away. Their seafood and fishofferings are on par with some of the heavy hitters to the south in Milwaukee or even Chicago and I especially enjoyed theservice and the pacing of the meal. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and even asked how we liked our food broughtour, which was nice. I highly, highly recommend both the tomato and seafood soups (bisque). Oh my, my mouth is watering justmentioning these two. The roasted tomato really stood out here, but the fried phyllo dough wrapped around the goat cheese reallyadded that extra punch. The seafood bisque was delectably smooth and had just the right hint of umami with that background oflobster and crab flavor. I used the sourdough to soak up the leftovers... oh so good! We also truly enjoyed the shrimp with thegrits... although so creamy and unctuous, I would liken them to polenta or risotto! Our entrees were well thought out with thescallops being the best choice here. The brown butter was a great compliment to the seared scallops and really added some flavordepth. I also truly loved the pesto risotto. Dessert was a chocolate fudge mousse and I didn't quite understand how small it wasuntil I dove into and realized... it was the perfect size for how decadent and luxurious this was. It truly was a deep chocolatefudge mousse... you couldn't have too much or it would certainly overwhelm! I would recommend this restaurant for travelers toDoor County. It certainly ranks up there in terms of seafood restaurants. Read more

Had an incredible meal here last week while my wife and I were on our honeymoon. First, the service here is excellent. No... question, some of the best I've experienced. The food, on another level. You can tell a great restaurant when they don't havesalt & pepper on the table, because the food is perfectly seasoned and executed when it comes out. We had some delicious foodthat I will never forget, from the roasted tomato bisque and truffle pasta we had for apps, to the lamb and salmon for theentrée, it was one of the best complete meals I've ever had. Beautiful upscale dining in Sister Bay with an amazing view of the water and wonderful service! Highly recommend for a date... night or anniversary dinner and come early to enjoy drinks on the patio or a walk in the marina! Don’t take this lightly, this is quite literally the best spot in Door County. The food is absolutely amazing, no matter what... you order and the view, especially for sunsets, is unmatched paired with a terrific cocktail. On top of that, they areincredibly accommodating for gluten free/celiac needs. Our server Kady was fantastic in explaining our options and putting ourworries to rest.
