My wife and I travel to Door County a couple times/year and Roots Inn and Kitchen is by far the best place we've stayed! The... rooms are very clean and a unique hot breakfast is included each morning. Our only regret was not eating lunch here also, butwill be sure to during our next stay! Roots is located in Sister Bay, the heart of Door County and central to most activities.Owners Collin and Sara are great. My friend and I stayed here during our trip to door county. Everything about this place is amazing from hospitality to food to... rooms. They have a variety of vegan options. Colin and Sara are extremely accommodating and great at recommending good spots forhiking, swimming, and just touring overall. Which totally made our trip better. My wife and I LOVED our stay here!! Even as non vegans, they were able to provide meals that were absolutely delicious!! Just... tell them your likes/dislikes/allergies and let them surprise you. The rooms are quaint, comfortable, and clean. Extremelyfriendly people and very accommodating!! Great location right in the heart of Sister Bay. My wife and I found this place last year in our first trip to Door County. We will not be staying at any other place! Amazing... rooms, building, and breakfast that is to die for. We loved it so much we booked our next stay before we even left. You alsocannot beat the location right in Sister Bay. Cannot recommend this place enough! Read more
Vegan amazingness with so much charm. We ate here twice while in town for a few days. They did a vegan fig ?salami? that was... incredible. Super cool, friendly, welcoming crew. Atmosphere was cozy chill. It felt like we were hanging with the locals bothtime. Hope we get to come back someday! Read more
My hubby and I came here for lunch and it was absolutely delicious!! As a vegan I appreciate all of the options. The food is... flavorful and you can tell the owners really pay attention to detail with the dishes. The broccoli wings were quite possibly thebest vegan appetizer I?ve ever had. Adorable bed and breakfast and restaurant. Ample outdoor seating on the deck behind the building. Unlike most restaurants in... Door County, the menu is almost entirely vegan. Definitely worth a visit for a meal when in Sister Bay. Read more
