Went there and just was not overly impressed. My family and I found that their sandwiches were medicore at best. If you wanted... something for relatively the same price but tasted better, and had a larger portion size then Subway or Jimmy John's would bothbe better options. Their ice cream, being homemade, was not worth the money spent. I found there were better places to go indoor county that had better flavored ice cream. After doing research I found that there are VERY few places in Door County that actually make their own ice cream and this is... one. Absolutely perfect. Tons of delicious flavors, quick service, three sizes, homemade and not too thick waffle cones right infront of your eyes. Great prices. Water cups (I have to have water with ice cream). Inside is nice and I love the history, butwished we had seen the cute outdoor space to sit. If you want the same ice cream that EVERYONE in the country sells (sorry WIfolks, it may be made in WI, but it's mass produced and everywhere) go elsewhere and leave the actual good stuff for the rest ofus. ;) Read more

It was very disappointing, there were 5 workers. Giving us dirty looks and not giving us our ice cream. Our order wasn?t... complicated it was easy. Very disappointed! TERRIBLE customer service. No cookie dough in my ice cream, only chocolate chips init and the name is C.O.O.K.I.E D.O.U.G.H not chocolate chips. I think the workers need to be trained again. they gave us dirtylooks! I'm a big fan of the Door County Cherry sundae. There are many varieties of ice cream to choose from. They also have a kitchen... and limited food. We love to sit outside under the trees. Many great memories! Note - it can get very busy, especially atnight after dinner. Read more

Very cool very old original building with pictures of the place back in early 1900s. Now to the ice cream, they make the waffle... cones right in front if you and stuff them full. The ice cream is very good, I got the Oreo ???????? but two scoops in a wafflecone is a lot to eat so don?t let it get you like it got me? felt like I needed to be rolled out after eating it all becauseit?s good. Good number of flavors to choose from and it?s firm not runny ? ice cream so it gives you some time to eat it beforeit melts right away. Good Ice Cream! Drove in while staying at Sturgeons Bay and THEY HAD BLUE MOON! The girls behind the counter are EXTEMELY... friendly. There is parking on the side/rear, but can be a bit tricky to get in and out of. The Blue Moon wasn't the same bluemoon I've tried elsewhere in where the taste was hard describe, liken to Fruity Pebbles cereal, but rather this Blue Moon had aHINT of flavor. Not sure what flavor but it wasn't ENOUGH flavor. Whoever makes this ice cream needs to up to dosage of theflavoring. We asked for sprinkles and they were poured from a parmesan cheese thingy... as you can tell not a whole lot comeout. They need to have a bucket of sprinkles that ice cream and be dunked into. Fantastic selection and tasty ice creams. Located in a 1912 building serving numerous flavors. Loved the mint chocolate chip in... waffle cone. Must visit location. Enjoyed the old world charm decorations such as refrigerator, typewriter, vacuum tube radio,etc. Read more
