Excellent atmosphere for curling and great golf course!
Had the opportunity for the first time to visit this course over the weekend. Definitely a must stop if you are into golf -... it's a very nice course and poses some nice challenges! Staff and people were very friendly, and the beer was icecold! Unfortunately, we booked 18 holes for Saturday and was told there would be a tournament finishing up (for the record). Didn't see any issue with that - however when we actually golfed, there was two sets of 8 golfers in front of our tee off. Ittook 4 hours and 5 minutes to complete 9 holes! I've never heard of groups of 8 golfers going out - makes it extremelyunenjoyable if you are behind them. If I was told at the time of booking there would be more than groups of 4 in front(nevermind 8 & 8), I would have found another time to book. That was truly disappointing and was about the worst round of golfI've ever had to experience. Not impressed on that end, lesson learned for next time when booking to ask # of people in groupsin front. Additionally, it would be really great if you can book a cart and not have it first-come, first-serve. Read more
