This place has been a go-to for me for many years. It has changed a few times but the way that it is right now is just about... the perfect little truck stop cafe. They've got their monster burger eating challenge, but I've not tried it. They have greatbreakfast all day long. If they had raisin cream pie the last couple of times I went they would have gotten 5 stars ;-). Read more
Excellent service from staff. Slow food but no biggie if you're not in a hurry. Several fresh pies to choose from. I even... grabbed a couple of sarsaparillas from the connected convenience store to have with my meal. Family diner atmosphere with greatfood. Read more
Delicious food and lovely wait staff. Though it was a bit slower, it was a comfortable meal. Breakfast all day and good variety... of options. They used to do a challenge burger but sadly it is a thing of the past. Read more
Really good experience here. Have a big variety on menu so had hard time deciding between a few things. Server was very friendly... and attentive and food came out fast. Definitely have their regulars that they socialize with but checked on us plenty oftimes. Wanted desert at their pies looked good but was too full. Read more

My service was good. My veggies were cool, but that was ok. I ordered the smothered chicken, it had really good flavor but it... seemed small and for the price I think maybe it should be either another piece or a larger piece. Of course they could alsoreduce the price as another option. I also ordered apple pie Ala mode, it came with the ice cream in a separate cup. But thatdidn't bug me either just was surprised by it. Marlins family restaurant was a really nice place for a sit down meal! They have a variety of good food options and also some... deals/specials everyday; some rather budget friendly too! Service was very nice and restaurant was clean. Only one stallbathroom, which is kinda surprising for such a large bathroom. Also could use some regular cleaning, but wasn't bad. Read more
Tiny and I can?t speak to the experience of others, but my food and entire experience was horrible. I?d specifically asked for... eggs a certain way (poached because it was Eggs Benedict, for crying out loud, and shouldn?t have been asked), but the serverinsisted that I didn?t know what I was talking about, even after I told her I had to insist on having them made the way I wanted? poached. She brought literal raw eggs to the table after I told her that I didn?t want eggs over easy (which is what sheinsisted I meant). ???? I can?t speak to the beverages, because I didn?t get to order one because the server was fixated onconvincing me that there is no such thing as poaching an egg, I?m mental and am really talking about over easy eggs. Warning: Marlin?s over easy eggs are RAW, and their cooks are apparently as dumb as their servers are. This place now holds the recordfor the shortest time I?ve spent in a restaurant and the lowest tip I?ve ever left. Congratulations, Marlin?s. Avoid thisplace; go to Fryn?
