Absolutely fantastic food! My dad and I had never had Ethiopian before and wanted to try something new today so we googled... Ethiopian restaurants in the area and went here. Everything was delicious and the waiter was very helpful and gave excellentadvice for first-timers like us. The restaurant itself was gorgeous with a ton of really neat artwork and nice music. First time trying Ethiopian food and I'm glad I came to the right restaurant. The owner was amazing and provided friendly and... attentive service. I recommend the Awaze beef tibs if you like a little spice in your meal. The Injera bread is awesome, itreminds me of an Indian bread called Dosa due to its similar texture and flavor. I had the beef key wot and it was delicious. The menu said that it was going to be spicy but I didn't think that it was. It was... the perfect blend of spices. We went around noon on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. Our service was good and we were notrushed. There was a very diverse group of customers. I would eat here again and recommend. Read more

This was my first time eating at Lalibela, and I really enjoyed it. I had never had Ethiopian food before, and our server... explained the menu so I'd have an idea what to order. All the food was delicious, and I especially liked eating everything withthe injera bread. Definitely check it out, I had a lot of fun learning about the cuisine, and I left full and happy! Read more
