Was passing through the area on our way back to California & I was so happy to come across this gem! When you're roadtripping... it's so hard to find healthy options so I was sooo escatic to find a healthy place to eat in SD! I got to customize my salad andit all tasted amazing! Definitely a must have if you are into healthy eating! ? the grilled mushrooms and cauliflower was soflavorful! The restaurant was clean Andi enjoyed how they decorated and showed of their supply of greens in the fridges behind the... employees. I ordered the Fiesta bowl. For a "green" salad, the gal put the smallest portion I've ever seen! I love veggies andsalad. The amount was about the size of an egg. Because the salads were so expensive, I could only afford one salad to sharewith my daughter. It cost $13!!! We got 2 drinks and the total came to $20. I was dumbfounded! The sad part was all they had wasunder fruit drinks that were mainly lemonades, a blueberry mint, or other. I found them all too sour. We will not be back. Toopricey. Next time I'll just go to the store and make a bigger and better salad for less. My two girls were also disappointed. Myother daughter got a shrimp salad and smoothie. I stopped by this place yesterday for my "Salad Day". I'm getting too fat, so I'm trying to lose weight. The selection of... salads is nice. Plenty to choose from. Probably a little too pricey. They should be more in the $10.00-$12.00 range instead of$13-$15. After ordering we went outside and sat in the patio furniture. Which was nice and comfortable. Around 11:30am, thegarbage truck came and emptied the dumpster. Which filled the air with a stench. If I owned this place, I would get the city toempty the dumpsters before 10am and not at lunch hour. Otherwise I have no complaints. Food was delicious. I will definitelybe back!! Read more
A very interesting experience, having never heard of it my wife and I was interested in trying some of their food. Their... selection was quite broad, and the food was quite good. Downloaded the app and went with curbside! I ordered the Bold & Buffalo and it was amazing. Perfect portion size. The Buffalo... sauce on the chicken was great and the cauliflower...amazing! Was initially concerned when I got home if I should of paid forextra dressing but by the time I shook up the salad it was the perfect amount! I will definitely be back to try other menuitems!! I did the ?make your own salad?. The food was fresh but the chicken was extremely bland. Absolutely no flavor, no spices or salt... whatsoever. I wasn?t offered a choice of adding spices or to grill the chicken for extra either. The worker there had anattitude and I felt like a burden. It was $16, a bit steep but not terrible. However I compare to pitapit which offers moretoppings, way better seasoning, easier their app and easier website to order from and again their toppings are free/cheaper Idon?t find many good reasons to come back to C&G in the near future.
