Reviews for Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom in Sioux City, IA
Someone how we got a table right away at the end of happy hour. Also, what happened to the happy hour!? Totally different now... and I'd say not worth going there for it anymore. Also, when did they change the size of the Italian nachos? They just cut theamount in half but want us to pay more for em? The food was good, the service was great. The place could use some deepcleaning. Will go back but not for happy hour as they took away the reasons to go when they changed the prices and sizes ofappetizers. Read more
My boyfriend and I had a great Sunday night at old Chicago. We sat at the bar and had Kalysta as our server. She was amazing,... gave great service and recommendations. They also have really good game day deals and a large selection of beer. Great place forgame night. Read more
Live music on weekends with the building opening up the glass walls creating a great outdoor/indoor patio. PIZZA WAS... OUTSTANDING. I also found out that you can bring you pet to this establishment, but just make sure they are well behaved or atleast trained because walking between tables can be kinda tight. Read more
Live music! I?ve only eaten at an Old Chicago a few times and it?s been several years. We ordered a Tuscan spinach deep dish.... This place is pretty full for a Thursday night. Friendly staff and pretty quick service. The pizza tasted GREAT. It?s beenyears since I?ve been at an Old Chicago, I can?t believe what I?ve missed out on. Today I?m having lunch here, I ate dinnerhere a few days ago, that?s how good it is here! I haven?t eaten at an Old Chicago in years and now twice in a week! Winner, winner a craft beer burger for lunch. I know it doesn?t rhyme. Read more
Pizza is great, but expensive. Get the ale crust pizza. Wonderful beer selection. Make sure you join the world beer club. You... can dine outside if that's your thing. I get it was 99° outside, but it was plenty warm inside too. Wish they'd reopen one inSioux Falls. Read more
Place is great for food, they have a ton of different beers, and TV?s etc., but they are quite good at making your meal. The... things in the wire basket are Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls. If you have not had them, you just try them. They are amazing. They haveseveral different calzones and the one you see there is the Meet-Me, which is like a meat lovers. Very good as well. Do as youwish, but as they come out freshly baked, I like to peel the knotted bread bead off around the edges and dip the pieces in themarinara sauce, as though I am dipping fresh hot bread sticks. Then, when I get to the rest, the filling of meat and cheesedominates over the bread, which to me gives a better flavor and experience. Service is most often good, and food comes in a veryreasonable time. They do offer a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron skillet that comes out hot and gooey and iswonderful as well, but didn?t get one this time, so no picture. Maybe I?ll add one later if I remember. Great place to try ifyou haven?t been here. Read more

The pizza is very .... average. We had a coupon for a BOGO large pizza. We got two pans pizzas, two toppings each. It... reminded me a lot of Pizza Hut, only about twice as much cost. The toppings are very sparse, and start about two inches awayfrom the edge of the crust. The taste was decent, just nowhere near worth the money. I would never pay $27 for either of thelarge pizzas we received. Do yourself a favor and grab a Jerry's or Bob Roe's pie. Read more
