Great little pizza joint. Some of the specialty pies made me a little nervous to try because I just like traditional pepperoni... and mushroom, but these pizzas were a pleasant surprise. Thank God we finally have a place to go for good pizza. We?ve tried every place possible searching for a pizza place we would... actually visit again. Not very successful. The reviews for Slice are accurate. The renovation is nice and is now a coolatmosphere. The pizza had perfect dough and cooked the correct way. Not soggy and nice crispy edges. My husband got the wingsand said they were perfect. He was also thrilled with the fries. Fries are a big deal to him :) We will def be back. Read more
Amazing experience at the slice! Loved the vibe and the interior was stunning! Comfy seats and super friendly and knowledgeable... staff! Ordered the garlic knots not pictured because I ate them so fast! So yummy and lots of garlic which I love! Wanted to trythe pizza and pasta so I ordered the Bianca with mushrooms and their gnocchi both were sooooooo good ! Fresh and delicious!Can?t wait to try more here! This place is good, and the service was better, thanks to Triniti. To start, my spouse and I ordered the Garlic Knots. They... were dumped in real garlic. The dough was dense (they weren't fluffy) and the garlic was too much, especially if you wanted totaste the actual flavors of the entrees. That was a bad choice. Then we ordered the Meatball and Ricotta pie, and it was good.We also ordered the Vodka Made Me Do It Pasta and it was good, but, nowhere on the menu nor communicated by the server that thesauce was spicy. And don't get me wrong, I love spicy food, but I have to control when to eat it because of health issues. So myafter-experience was bad because of poor communication from the restaurant. The place is beautiful even though they haven'tfinished decoration/construction. I could possibly return but will ask a lot of questions before placing the order. So myadvice is, don't assume, and if your health could be at risk, ask anything and everything. PS: Tiramisu was dry. I might knowwhy but will keep that to myself. Read more
Let?s be honest, the pizza in the Greenville area can be pretty meh. HOWEVER, this little Slice of heaven recently reopened and... after seeing all the amazing reviews thought I had to try it and oh man is it awesome. Everything about it is so amazing, thefood was great, the service was awesome and the staff seemed to be having a good time. This will definitely become a regularspot for me! Thanks guys! Read more
The garlic knots and sauce are outstanding we also loved the pizza log. We had four adults and three children in our party, so... we ordered one large pepperoni pizza and one large stuffed crust pizza. Since we had the two appetizers before hand, the largepepperoni would have been enough. Both pizzas were delicious and the stuffed crust pizza is extremely filling. I used the dipsauce that came with the appetizers to dip my pizza crusts, can't let that awesome sauce go to waste. Read more
After all hearing people talk about how great this pizza was I must admit I was disappointed. The pizzas looked good and the... flavor wasn't bad but the pizza was extremely tough and hard to chew. I thought it was just me at first but then the kidsmentioned it. The pizza appeared to be cooked good so the issue with the crust must be in the ingredients. I'm not in a hurryto go back and will probably just stick to Anthony's next time. Read more
Could not take an order correctly over the phone and I had to repeat myself 3x?s and still got it wrong! Went into pizzeria to... pickup my order and when I arrived home with hungry family to eat, the order was WRONG. Sooooo frustrating, and this was myfirst time here. The service here is terrible over the phone and also in person! The young female cashier had the gall to tellme I should had caught it when I picked it up, WOW! This was my first and last time and I?m from Brooklyn and this pizza doesnot taste like the good pizza up in north in NY! I immediately called to complain and the owner Dave told me he would make itright and make me new a new order that I would then have to pick up. Yeah while hungry, I get to wait 30 more minutes for foodto be ready, then drive back 25 minutes to pizzeria and then back home 25 minutes for him to make it right! Make it right,refund!! People make mistakes but his staff made excuses and didn?t tell him how they talked to me on the phone and talked downto me just before putting him on the phone. I told him what they said and he didn?t seem to care. I told him I called so hecould understand and fix it, improve for the better of his business but it went on deaf ears. Sorry Dave, your gonna lose morebusiness than just me as a customer with that kind of service! Lost customer here and many more to come. It?s not rocketscience, it?s simple pizzeria food and service but Dave took one for his team, I get it. Too many of this and you?ll take it allfor the poor service and quality issues of your business. Where is my Pepperoni and why missing sections of cheese?
