Reviews for BOVA Pizza in Simpsonville, SC
Best by far for Brick oven pizza, had several times now and the pizza is spot on everytime. Menu has a large selection of pizza... and other foods. Family owned place. Read more
Awful awful, I don?t know what was worse, the fact that they shut the lights off at 9:30 to force us out of there, or the fact... that the 8 inch pizza and two waters cost 58 dollars. Coming from New York, and then having pizza from a place like Dova?. Imiss quality food to say the least. I will be making sure to tell as many people as I can that Bova can?t afford to keep thelights on past 9:30. If you?re looking for a quality and affordable sit in, this is not the place. Read more
Super friendly staff! I'm pretty sure everything is tasty. Everything we've ordered here has been great and we've been all over... the menu. They know how to cook a medium rare burger...so if you order one and it's not, don't be a was and tell your server. They will totaly take care of you! 5 stars for casual awesomeness!! Read more

Bova Pizza needs to do better? this was my first time ordering a 12 inch and it was so small, it wasn?t even enough to share... with another person. You get a better deal at Domino's! The pizza was not good and the slices weren?t even full slices. Thenwhen I tried to call, their mailbox was full and you can?t get through to anyone. Don?t waste your money?go to a chain pizzaplace. Will not be coming back again. Read more
Great neighborhood restaurant with excellent service and authentic Italian meals. We liked the build your own pasta with lots of... choices of meats, veggies, and sauces. Or server Denise was wonderful and made our experience there a joy. Read more
Well... so went went on Derby Day. Sat outside 445PM. Was told they had. Weihenstephaner hefe only to be told later they... didn't have it. But Allagash White for $5 a pint (happy hour pricing) is a steal anywhere. The server was attentive. Weordered meatballs and asked for a few slices of bread to go with it. Pictured is what we got. The meatballs were hot, but atad bland. More sauce and cheese would have helped. We ordered Quattro Fomaggio as a base with straight up pizza toppings. Byfar, this was the better of the two pizzas, though the toppings were light for the cost. The other pizza was the PizzaMessicano, which was disappointing. The volume of sour cream to all other toppings was 1:1. Once I scraped 90% of the sourcream off, I could actually taste the other ingredients. See attached picture. After eating 1/2 the pizzas each, we got theRaspberry Cheesecake and split it happily. Was the second best thing we had, behing the beer. All in all the place was clean, the service was good, the beer selection is great. The pizza was disappointing. The free entertainment, since we sat outsideunder the lip of the building was watching wrens build their nests. If we go back I'll try the panini or veal. Read more
I love this place! The food is great restaurant is always clean and staff is friendly I only gave service a 4 star review for my... most recent trip because although my waiter was very nice he seemed to get lost (like a lot) our water/tea glasses didn't stayfilled he just was not very attentive. I also understand that most places are still grossly understaffed because for so long ourwonderful govt pd folks to stay home now no one wants to work so 4 out of 5 for service I know he tried!
