Fresh and delicious! I had the Falafel Plate and it was incredible!
Greek House Cafe was Expanded and remodeled beautifully. They changed the feta on the salad it's very crumbly and doesn't taste... the same and the dressing tastes a bit different now. The tomatoes aren't as flavorful as before either so those are somedownsides. The food prices also went up so my lamb kebab plate is $23 now. Pretty steep so I don't go often. That said, it isstill the best Greek food around. We have tried different places around here and the in the Valley and was disappointed EVERYtime. the lemon soup is yummy and so are the lemon roasted potatoes. The gyro pita is also good and SO full of meat! The pita ishot and nicely grilled so it's got a crispiness. Hummus is good. Fries are SO good!!! My husband loves the lentil soup and thespanakopita. Got the Village Combo plate with Greek salad, Feta fries and dolma. The village combo plate was awesome and a big enough portion... to share or just fill you up! The lamb & beef were delicious, soft and tender. I dont like lamb but thankfully I couldn't tellthe difference between lamb & beef. The chicken skewer was good, cooked well & still juicy. Greek salad was delicious, dressingwas mild. The tatziki was great and the pita bread was nice and crispy. The dolma was good too, kinda tangy, soft grape leavesand the sauce was tasty. Fries were good but it would've been nice if there was more cheese & it was hot or melted. Washed itall down with a cold Dr Pepper. It's a nice place with cute interior decorations and 6 or so tables inside and outside seatingas well. They're in a small plaza with their own parking lot. Staff was nice. Read more

We were up in Simi Valley for a birthday party and looking for a good place to eat, and we came across the Greek House Café?... The reviews were good and I have to admit they were spot on. A very nice atmosphere compared to the strip mall that is locatedin. The food was excellent. The food is pricier than it would seem for where it is located, but well worth it. A real gem. I was ready to throw some shade on this restaurant because the $ sign indicates cheaper prices. It should be at least $$. But... after eating their very satisfying lamb and beef gyro, I can?t completely throw them under the bus. The fries were hearty. Ireally liked the pita bread; it was fresh on the inside and crisped on the outside. So I wondered: do they bake their own? Greek house is my favorite restaurant in simi valley. Everything is quality and fresh. I love the lemon orzo soup. There's... something for everyone and large portions make many things shareable. Hidden gem in this town. Family owned and just a greatplace to support local small business. Read more
