Hi there, Usually great service when we dine in Simcoe but somehow Saturday got lost. A) there was a snow storm which impacted... staffing - there was a wait but that was not the problem. B) Once seated, I asked for an alcoholic drink not listed on the menuand although there were other alcoholic drinks offered on the menu, I was told this was not a bar but a family restaurant -ok. C) I then ordered the suggested wine special to accompany the meal. At that point we were told due to weather conditions wewould be allowed one drink only as she, the waitress was making a smart serve decision . - Again ok - we had not asked for moreas we had not any. I did point out we were staying at the Comfort Inn next door and had walked over to which the loud reply fromthe waitress was "I don't know that and smart serve says I can limit you." - I could have shown her our reservation. I am happyshe was honouring the smart serve restrictions and I am not happy in how that information was delivered and the subsequentdismissal of my comment. It left a distaste and unfortunately clouded the meal experience. Maybe a conversation in how to nothumiliate a customer when there was no cause. Read more
Went into this establishment shortly after 8 to grab a burger from Harvey's and this chick working on the other side of the... kitchen is yelling and swearing up a storm to someone not sure who but it wasn't very pleasant. It's people like this I'm glad ileft behind working in a kitchen and no wonder why people don't want to work these types of job's. I hope the management team ofthis establishment has a talk with this lady It's just unacceptable for the coworkers involved also for the public eye towitness. Read more
I have always enjoyed Swiss chalet. The taste is always been supreme always felt really fresh and crisp the salads. Totally... different today, and I can see why they're closing Swiss chalets it depends on the people managing and running the restaurant inthe vicinity which they are established. Read more

UPDATE?. Today sept 23/22 in the mail I received a coupon to replace my unacceptable meal from 6 days ago. Thank You John!! ... ??????Today , sept 17/22 I Ordered the 6oz beef dinner with mashed and gravy ? the amount of FAT on the beef was wayunacceptable! Close to half of the beef was fat huge hunks of it? the mashed and veggies were cold. And yet the bun was warm !?I Sent a picture in with my review to the Harvey feedback site ?. Read more
Seated after a 20 min wait in the worst drafty area. Some people seated across from us kept their coats on. I can't eat with a... winter coat on. My food went cold fast. Tea didn't even stay hot. Horrible experience. DO BETTER! Ate as quickly as possiblenever going back. Read more
