The donuts are delicious and freshly baked but you need to arrive early to get them as they run out fast! I could only give 3... stars due to the young girl working the counter. She was not very friendly and seemed irritated that we were buying from her.She wasted a donut(threw it in the trash) because I changed my mind on the flavor even though it wasn\'t touched previously. Lone Star donuts are hands down the best donuts I have ever tasted, by a long shot.\n\nYou\'re going to know as soon as you try... one that you have not had a donut this good EVER.\n\nThey\'re LGBTQ and Navy friendly\nRecently had a fundraiser donating partof each purchase to a group having to do with one of the carriers.\n\nThe owners are really really great and the staff are kindas heck.\n\nBut seriously, you really have to try this donuts I\'m not kidding just go ???? I have had a lot of different doughnuts from all over the country and I would say that these doughnuts are average. The doughnut... itself is fresh and soft with a good crust, but the frosting is eh. Change the frosting and the filling to a real glaze and youwould have a good doughnut. That is the one thing you should never substitute for quality. Read more
I like the fact that they have more interesting flavors like guava, but the jelly itself doesn\'t taste anything like guava.... Hopefully they can find a better guava filling or make their own. I found the other donuts to be too sweet even for my sweettooth. The fluffiness of their yeast donuts is really nice as long as they tone down the sugar. Strangely they didn\'t have cakedonuts because the person who makes the cake donuts wasn\'t available. Seems like a huge miss for a donut shop. Anyway, they\'renot the best but they\'re not bad either. I do hope they improve because it\'s nice to have a family-owned donut shop nearby. Read more
