LOOK at what 33.00 gets ya! I've been so excited to check out the new Silver Springs Diner since the new owners took over in... Oct. 2022! I called and placed an order for fish & chips and a patty melt. Picked it up after tipping 5.00 to the waitress andbrought it home. The photos show what I got. :( Gooey undercooked fish and burnt chips that were pulled out of the fryer andimmediately put into the box in a big greasy glob. The patty melt was actually a burned hamburger with a few onions, not on rye,no cheese and not grilled as shown on their own menu which nobody looks at for reference. I called, took it back, and what theygave me was worse than the first try. Patty melt burnt again, no cheese, a sliver of onion, and now on white bread absolutelysoaked in butter and dripping, not grilled crispy. Onion rings and fries are still white, raw and uncooked. Fish REALLYburned. The manager herself told me that nobody is trained, they are thrown in and are learning on their own, with no owneraround. Who does that after going through the trouble of re-decorating, hiring good decent people and buying food? I sat in theparking lot for 30 minutes while they made it over, listening to others complain as they were leaving. The owner was supposed tocall me back but it's been over an hour and and half, nobody has. One star for the kindness and smiling faces! What a great place. Food was great, lots of flavor and choices. Jess was our server, she is very friendly and attentive. They... were short staffed and extremely busy but we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated and Jess was there within minutes to getour drink order. We will definitely be back again!! Read more

Facility look clean, small wait time. Hostess was friendly. And unfortunately that's where it all ends. The waitress pulled the... straw out of her apron gave us a wet opened straw. I went to the bar to ask for a new straw and while I was doing that thepatron at the bar told the waitress that this is not her breakfast the waitress picked it up and gave it to another patron at adifferent table. The patron at the bar had the plate sitting in front of her for quite a few many minutes. Our meal came it wasnothing extraordinary we had asked for hash browns and we got their version of "hash browns" which was simply boiled smashedpotatoes that they grilled. Grilling them did not give them any crispness it just gave him a brownish grey color. They garnishthe plates with unripe or rotten strawberries. When we questioned the "hash browns" to the waitress she just kind of said ohwell that's their version of " hash browns" never offered to replace them with grits or do anything different for us. We weretruly hoping to have a new breakfast spot but we will not be returning to this restaurant. You seriously have to go try the NEW Silver Springs Diner!! Friendly staff! Clean restaurant and fair pricing! This is the... Elvis and you will need 4 people to eat this or your taking it home!! We did and it took 2 To Go boxes!! It?s an XXXLARGEcinnamon roll, filled and topped with peanuts, peanut butter, bananas, chocolate sauce and white frosting. I will be returning. I say that because the review may not reflect that this place does deserve a chance. We came in day two of... relaunch. We have been here on a previous relaunch and the changes they have made to the location are amazing. Their menu istoo big. They do everything from scratch but your menus being this big only causes problems for the kitchen. It took around 40minutes from the time we ordered to get food to our table. My wife's order was incorrect and they fixed it within 5 minutes asit was just a breakfast sandwich. I believe it took so long as they were waiting on a new batch of biscuits. However withouttheir resting time the ones I received were underdone. The food still tasted great and our coffee cups stayed full. I willgive them more chances as some of the menu items are interesting. I don't like to just complain so here are things that can besorted out to improve. 1 new water filter 2 better hostest organization for seating 3 smaller menu 4 Finish those decorations Ilook forward to returning and giving an updated new review. THEY CHANGED OWNERS!!! Run away!!! This place is so SORRY!! We went in not knowing about the change of management.. should have... figured it out when we didn?t get acknowledged or drinks ordered for 15 plus minutes. And had to say HEY WE?RE HERE!!!!! My manordered the special, They we?re out. He ordered the Brisket .. they were out!! He ordered the potatoes pancakes. They were out!! He asked what DID they have.?? She said Fish and chips!! My friends biscuits and gravy was awful.. no flavor except forpepper, and the meat didn?t taste like sausage. My open faced turkey with mashed potatoes ? well, look at the pictures. Thepotatoes were mashed with a fork?. told they were made to order?.all my food was slightly warm? and tasted old. We put our foodin Togo boxes to take home to the dogs.. awful food. Poor server has never been a server before?.. I felt bad for her.. manypeople complained about many things while were were there and meals were comped?.. or people Just didn?t want their food afterthey ordered it!
