Let?s get right to it! I ordered from door dash- meal came in less than 10 mins. I ordered the shrimp jerk bowl and Mac n... cheese. Everything was delicious aside from the pickled slaw as it was very dry. The cabbage lacked some seasoning. They must offixed their Mac n cheese because it was BOMB DOT COM! The plantains were amazing! My meal came up to $22. Overall, it was good.This is a new spot so I?m hopeful that they will readjust as they grow. I would definitely order from them again! This food was EVERYTHING!!!!!! I got the stewed chicken bowl with noodles and a bunch of other yummy goodies in it. I also... ordered the jerk mumbo wings, and the biggest disappointment of all was that there was only ONE flat in the entire container. Iwas CRUSHED!! I had to give the entire container away after I consumed that one yummy flat of course lol I spent about $34 onthe bowl, wings, and a canned coke. I would say if you go in person and dine in you won't regret it. I got the Jerk Chicken with fried rice, angry mayo, angry... sweet, cucumber salsa and cilantro. It had a slight kick and very flavorful. (Cost 11.00) The person behind the counter wasokay. I think she is new but one of the workers, maybe the manager/owner asked me how my day was going and had a cool but briefexchange. The music is jamming. DO NOT VISIT WITH ALLERGIES: I was really excited for this spot to open and for the first week or two it was great to have such... a cute Jamaican spot nearby. Unfortunately, it has really gone downhill in food quality and service. I kept giving them a chancewith food quality and service until today, I am allergic to shrimp so I always go with chicken or beef and today ordered somechicken tacos online only to get home with some SHRIMP tacos!! Thankfully, I am alive since they?re always forgetting somethingand encourage you to always check your food so today they had no jerk mambo so I was adding bbq sauce when I realized. The food is delicious as the new menu rolls out the jerk chicken tacos are the most recommended, The staff is happy and seem... grateful for your patronage. The cashier/host was patient and pleasant and the food came fast. The restaurant had a cheers typevibe with local OG's to converse with while the food was prepared. I could see into the kitchen and saw that my tacos were madefresh and with care, the food came very fast and I really enjoyed it. I'm I'm glad to see pillars of the community continue tobuild and employ from the community. After a shifty uber ride home my tacos were still intact and beautiful see for yourself. Read more
The food didn?t look or taste fresh. The buffet style left the food dry. We opted for one entree based on the looks of things... and it was disappointing. We ordered the salmon. $26 The food wasn?t authentic Jamaican style. The portions were small. Therewere three pieces of plantains for the entree.
