I wish there was a negative star. Purchased a nice side order to get home and throw everything in the trash. Egussi was salty,... jollof had an interesting smell and the few grains I tasted seemed to be old. Meat was three tiny pieces of some over cookedchicken, beef and fish. Good restaurant with a variety of meal suggestions. Food taste good and seem fresh. Fried plantains should be better cooked.... They are cut tick and not left long enough to cook throughout Just wish the physical facility was better decorated. Okay so we came to D.C from Philly and the African restaurants wasn’t giving us that home cooked meal so we found this... restaurant from google . I looked at the menu and instantly knew this restaurant wasn’t going to disappoint me . The food wasdelicious! I ordered food to take back home to Philly .
