My family is Liberian and I was craving some good african food. My friend reccomended this restaurant and I tried it for the... first time today. The food was awesome! I had Fufu and Peanut soup and a order of Palm Nut soup. The fufu nice and soft, bothsoup was very tasty and seasoned. Each entry is enough for two or three servings. I wish the meat in the soups were cut smaller,they both had three large portion, but was very good. I will definitely return and try something else. Very disgusting attitude! All because we wanted to place an order. The food is mid, and they have a bad habit of taking matters into their own hands. Whoever is in charge of their Uber eats... orders needs to be fired. What I mean by that is if they don?t have what you ordered, instead of canceling the order or callingto inform, they take matters into their own hands and give you something else. This has happened to me on 4 different occasionsand to my brother on 2 different occasions, I never complain but the last one was IT for me. I can?t spend money to order fromBeltsville to Gaithersburg to not get what I ordered for. It?s ridiculous. If you don?t have what I ordered, cancel the order orcall to inform and let me make the choice. Like I said, the food is mid at best. All the raving reviews about the food are undeniable. HOWEVER the customer service.. I placed my order before arriving because I... drove almost 2 hours to go check this restaurant out. When I arrived young lady (I?m assuming the same one everyone complainsabout in the reviews) looked at my order made a face and walked away. She then came back again services a few more customers andsaid she?ll be back? 45 minutes later someone else noticed I had been standing there for a while and asked what my order was ?then notified me that they had run out of certain foods and that was cause of the delay. Overall the jollof was perfect notspicy and the goat meat was delicious / not too dry or though. The fried rice was also great. The bofrot is a MUST have but Ithink the meat in the meat pie had spoiled or maybe it was sitting out a little too long so I didn?t reallly get to experienceit.
