I love it when I find a great food truck. Just hit the mobile version of Heavenly Wings at 9331 Georgia Ave in Silver Spring on... the Exxon parking lot. Wings were cooked to order in 7 minutes. Came out super crispy and perfectly cooked. Medium level heatwas like traditional Buffalo wings. Server was polite and kind. Definitely worth the stop even if you don?t need gas! Read more
Anything but heavenly. The wings tasted old. The texture was that of wings that had been sitting and recooked the next day.... Barely any sauce on the wings. And the fries were vomit inducing. The tastes like paper. Tasted like they had been recookedseveral times and were left in an old grease trap. Save your money. This was an atrocious excuse of a meal. I never leavereviews for anything. So ordered on Grubhub tonight my fiancé got a chicken sandwich and I got the wings. I thought to myself hey this doesn't seem... like a bad deal hoping there wouldn't be a catch.... well I was wrong there is always a catch problem 1) They were out of thechicken sandwich and we didn't even get notified until the delivery driver was at the door. I thought it happens, but still weshould of been notified or asked if we wanted a replacement. Problem number 2) came in the form of the photo below. Thesechickens must of been on a keto diet! I'm talking small about the size of two quarters small. So if you want what you orderedor you want average size wings for a decent price look somewhere else. *I'll give them that they had good flavors and I'm nochicken wing expert by any means but I can tell they aren't standard. I visited their Germantown station and was completely satisfied from the service to the wings themselves. I ordered hot, lemon... pepper, and old bay flavors. My favorite was the old bay followed by the lemon pepper. The wings were well seasoned, fresh and,crisped...just the way I like them. The French fries almost didn't make it home for dinner ????. Ordered from a delivery service and the order arrived wrong. Wings looked naked and didn't include the extra blue cheese, fries... and wings were also super soggy. I called and they apologized and said they'd remake the order. I arrived, picked up the bag,and checked it in my car. Wings looked the same, so I surmized they just under-sauce normally. Still missing blue cheeses. Stillsoggy. When I see a dude in a truck, I get excited. Some of the best food I've eaten has come from a passionate chef in a tinyspace. Sadly, the passion for quality is lacking here. Wings were boxed immediately out of the fryer, no ventilation in the box= soggy, watered down generic blue cheese and scant saucing. Happened upon this food truck while getting gas and snacks. Decided to give it a try although my gut feeling and intuition was... hesitant. Should have followed my instincts. This food was horrible. Overpriced and disgusting. The lemon pepper wasnonexistent on the lemon pepper wings. The chicken lacked flavor and did not taste fresh. Also the other order we had of thespicy wings and fries made my family sick! Literally a few minutes after eating that horrible chicken they threw up, andeverything which confirmed my concerns about it being sanitary and the food fresh. I would never recommend this place and wish Icould get my $26 back. Waste of time and money. I wish I could give it negative stars because I would. Read more
