Reviews for Amina Thai Restaurant (Silver Spring) in Silver Spring, MD
See the attached pictures, I paid $33.81 for chicken Noodles and chicken fried rice which was NOT worth it. Food was okay, but... amount was small compare to price. In the name of halal they charge too much money. Read more

Very friendly staff and delicious food. They serve in disposable utensils which is very hygienic. They have sanitizers... everywhere. The only issue is parking which is why we did take out. 10/10 highly recommend if you?re looking for authentic Thaicuisine which is also halal. Read more

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with my visit here at Amina Thai. Ever since moving to DC, I've heard so much about this... place in terms of yummy Halal Thai food. While the food was okay, it was definitely underwhelming. The Thai iced tea was good, but basic. The Tom Yum soup I'd rate the same. The main entrees were more disappointing. There was something off about theflavors in my chicken Pad Thai. The ingredients were all there, but they didn't work well together. We also ordered the DrunkenNoodles with beef. This tasted a bit better than the Pad Thai but unfortunately the taste was overshadowed by the oiliness. Ifyou eat too much of it, you'll feel a bit sick. Overall, Amina Thai will scratch your Thai food itch, but it won't leave youwanting more. Read more
I was excited because of the halal Thai. But not so very happy about the foods. The soup was good. Also liked the curry with... mango (forgot the name) and didn?t like the pineapple curry. Not as good as we expected. Fried banana was good. Also, I thinkthe hot tea is better then ice tea since they just put ice on the tea. It looks delicious but doesn?t taste great. If you askone thing to must have, I?ll say the fried Banana split. Their location is very good. Right in silver spring downtown. But stillthe Resturant was empty on a Saturday evening when we got there. Read more
The first impressions were mixed. Although the appearance was quaint, there was a bit of a fishtank smell. Appetizers were... fresh and tasty. The spring rolls were piping hot, and the satay chicken was juicy. The Pad Thai was solid, and the other dish(I forgot the name) was very flavorful. The service was at times attentive, other times slow despite not being busy when wewere there. Overall, a solid place. Read more
The lady who works there is beyond rude. Zero customer service. Took 20 minutes to take our order. Her wrist literally touched... the chicken when she reached over to put something on the table but she was so rude we chose to ignore it. She touched all thefood while holding the plate from the side and had major attitude giving us napkins, cutlery, spice mix, making faces and beinga total b%h. Food was mediocre at best. Used to be good that's why we drove 40 minutes to get there but never again. Otherrestaurants deserve our business in this tight economy. At this rate she'll be shutting down in 6 months. Read more
