I placed my order and went to pick it up just for this business/food truck to cancel my order 10 minutes after it was supposed... to be ready stating the propane was gone and he couldn?t cook my food. He should have stopped taking orders. No certificate forthe inconvenience was offered - no, he didn?t care to make this right. Also, the ordering platform does not work on iphone 13, Ihad to use my laptop and wait only for them to cancel my dinner. I wouldn?t order from there again if someone paid me. Read more
Placed order via Curbside app at 10am for pickup 11:15-11:30am. Received text that food was ready. Arrived at truck at 11:15 and... told a few more minutes. Colleague placed order and received food 5 mins later. I was told they ran out of my order and to ordersomething else. Took another 20 mins as other orders were prepared ahead of mine. This place also goes by "Beverly Hills Burger Bungalow" & "Burger Slob" on Uber Eats, Grubhub, doordash, & seamless. I ordered... from Uber Eats, not realizing that I was actually ordering from the 7 Starr Wings food truck parked in a gas station parkinglot. They were out of 2/3rds of what I ordered, I found meat in my cole slaw (I will spare you the photo of it), and the drinkI ordered did not arrive. Additionally, In my opinion the tots were cooked for too long, and had way to much salt for my liking.My opinion is to stay away, but maybe mine was just a one off bad experience. Good food but unauthorized charges. We got a wrap and a sandwich. He quoted us 8 minutes but took over 20 minutes to get us the... food. He verbally told us the total as he held out the chip reader and we handed him our card. When we got the Square receipt,it showed that he had added a drink we never requested or received and a tip. (It was just a chip reader device so no offer oftip even came up.) I?m all for supporting a small business in my neighborhood, but adding unauthorized charges is not goodpractice. I hate to give 1 star reviews, but let me tell you why I love writing this one. Note, this involves their food truck. I ordered... a few items online at around 5:15PM and was notified food would be ready by 5:35PM. 5:35 rolls around and I go to the truck. At5:40PM I spoke to the guy who at that moment told me it would be ten more minutes. I say 'great', and walk away. I come back at5:50PM. Still not ready, but they say it will be soon. I wait longer, this time out front of the food truck in the freezingcold, not that they control the weather, but I figured they'd be mindful of seeing me and maybe cook my food. Then, I wait withother people until around 6:40PM. At this point I ask about my food again. They say my order is going on right at that moment,so I wait some more. Between 6:40PM and 7:20PM, I stand by and watch multiple other people who had order times well past myestimated order time of 5:35PM, and who ordered significantly more food, receive their orders. At 7:20PM, I ask about my orderonce more. They say that they're just now starting to cook it, and they'll text me when it's ready. I walk away. It's now7:40PM, and I've heard nothing. I don't care that you're busy, but don't lie to me and keep saying my food will be ready soon/isbeing cooked when it clearly isn't. Especially when you can see I'm standing in the cold waiting for it. It is monumentallydisrespectful.
