I like the fish was good,but it was very greasy and my husband's shrimp was greasy too I had to get several napkins just to... clean get the grease out. So we will not go back. Read more
My girlfriend and I took take out home and we got the fish and shrimp with the hush puppies and fries it was delicious... everything was cooked so good and yes it's a little greasy it's supposed to be it's fried fish fried shrimp and fried hushpuppies it's supposed to be greasy a little bit and it was greasy and delicious! One year ago I gave a review about what a bad experience I had. I haven't been back until today. The lady with short blonde hair... who took my order was so nice and friendly. They even brought our food to the table. The place was cleaner than any other placeI've been in. I wish I could give 10 ? I definitely will be back soon. It's my new favorite place now. Food was great, but they need better leadership in their restaurant. All young teens working and we had to wait in the drive... through for them to fix our order and then finally tell us they gave us the wrong order and they gave us our food after about 20minutes. I don't blame them at all they were very nice, I could tell they were stressed and trying their best. Read more
I returned here a second time because the first experience was Fantabulous perfectly cook fries & fish. Yesterday a Paula Dean... look alike serviced me. Same order as always. It was so greasy. I did food service on deep fryers in Yankee Stadium for 10years. I couldn't believe we got fond you know that brown stuff at the bottom of the oil after frying food. It was all over ourfood. I'd like to see this woman try that on a in house order in stead of a take out. I'll just be checking all my to go ordersbefore leaving an establishment. If you?re wondering if that fish taste the same as you remember back in the day, ?. yes it does and this location makes it even... better. How you ask? It?s not as greasy and is so fresh and piping hot! It?s sooo good. This is our Second time at thislocation and we are not disappointed at all, Both times the store was clean right after a lunch hour, the employees areextremely friendly, helpful and are making this place great. Very impressed. Now for the A&W, oh yes that root beer is exactlywhat we remember of the good old days of car side. Pairs well with that fish too! We are still some of the people that love Long John silver's! Unfortunately they have really cut their fish down, there was... almost as much batter as there was fish, but it was still delicious! Love the fact that this Long John silver's is coupled withan a&w Root beer, which makes it nice for dessert! We have to drive 30 minutes to enjoy Long John silver's but we love it :-)Hope you do too!
