Reviews for Angelinos Italian Restaurant in Siloam Springs, AK
Incredibly disappointed with our last visit. The food has always been good with each visit so that is not my complaint. The... owner should do something about the wait staff. Be ready to ASK for everything. And when you do be prepared to wait some morefor it. My biggest disappointment was the argument between two waitresses while serving a table about her taking a table out ofturn. Very awkward! Another complaint was when one staff member went outside to for a break another was hollering across theroom where are you going and that she was going next. Unprofessional! Needless to say we were annoyed and disappointed. Not surewe will return after this experience. Read more

I have to be honest. We've driven past this place for years and have never dined here. The restaurants exterior appearance is... very poor. The restaurant was formerly a Chinese restaurant. We used to eat there quite regularly. But, the last time we atethere when it was the Chinese restaurant I literally watched roaches crawling up the wall in the dining area. So, we stoppedgoing there. So, when it became the Italian restaurant that it is now and it looked so terrible on the outside. I just couldn'tgo in. .. That was until yesterday! My husband suggested that we give it a try. I thought, ok here goes money in thetrash. The waitress was very understanding with my direct questions. I asked if they made their own sauce. She explained thatall sauces are made from scratch. I expressed to her my concerns about eating there. She was very gracious and assured me that Iwould be pleased. The overall appearance of the interior had not changed much from it previous Chinese look. It was very datedand worn. They've tried to freshen it up with some very distinct paint choices. They've definitely spent some time cleaning. Icould smell a light scent of bleach at our table. (Yeah!!!) I couldn't see into the kitchen, so I can't speak on the cleanlinessin there. The restroom was clean though. When we got our food I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the sampler plate withlasagna, manicotti and beef ravioli. It was great!! I'll definitely order it again. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi. Hesaid that it was good, but he was disappointed that it only came with 5 shrimp on it. I think it was $17 .. Give them a try! Itwas overall a good experience. I was the only car in the parking lot at 12:30 and it's usually a bad sign but I took a chance anyway. The building is showing... its age and drastically needs paint and live flowers to replace the nearly dead sunflowers at the door The outside appearanceand empty parking lot have probably prompted many potential customers away sadly to say. The waitress was friendly andaccommodating from start to finish and that was the best thing about the restaurant. The side salad was large and freshlyprepared. The accompanying bread was quite good. My main disappointment was the spaghetti and meatballs. It wasn't particularlybad but nothing to write home about. Two large meatballs in the middle that weren't appealing with the spices used and the texture was unusual. The portions were large . I found the restaurant very average with much better options available. I wrote adining column in California for 5 years and always rooting for family businesses but sadly this location needs a large helpingof TLC. Read more
Great service. The highlight was definitely the bread and oil (complementary). I had the chicken genovese and it was pretty... good. The sauce was good and the asparagus was grilled well, my only complaint was the the chicken itself was a little underseasoned and was just kind of there. Overall pretty good but I wish I had tried the veal or seafood instead of the chicken. Read more
While traveling through to Eureka Springs we randomly stopped in for dinner. The place wasn't too busy on a Thursday evening... around 7pm. Our waitress meshed very well with uor humor/personality, almost as if she was extended family. Not only did shemesh well and liked among our group she took very good care of us. Their Garlic cheese bread was very good, as were the stuffedmushrooms. My entrée was a chicken breast, veggies, capers, and a lemon wine sauce (normally it comes with pasta, but Irequest no pasta and more veggies). The chicken was very tinder, and the veggies were great. Personally, I found the lemon winesauce bland. It wasn't until almost the end of my meal did I really squeeze the lemon slice to extract more juice that helpedbring the bright citrus note I was looking for. I wouldn't messed with the lemon earlier on but it looked like it had alreadybeen squeezed and nothing much left in it. Although I enjoyed everything up to my entrée which I'd rate 3 stars, I gave thereview a 4 to be fair since everything else was good. Plus, most everybody else in our party of 11 liked or really enjoyed theirmeal. Read more
I will rate this @ 4.5 star. If you want a good italian food, go to this place! Their food is superb! I ordered their pasta... trio and meat lovers pizza! I really enjoyed the food! And their artichoke dip was soo good! The staff here are friendly too!We were served by a mid aged lady and she was very nice and friendly. She even came back to check on us! The food was deliveredon time. It wasnt an extended wait! The only downside is the place. It looks dated! I would strongly recommend the owner torenovate the place an have someone to interior design the place! I would totally agree to some reviews that this place servesfantastic food! It only needs a little bit of beautification of the place itself. If you guys don't mind about the place (whichi dont) this is definitely a good place to satisfy your palate. Read more
The outside looks iffy but our family has come to realize some of the sketchy looking places have the best food so we decided to... try it. When we walked in the waitress was singing, she was so nice, and sat us right away. I had a salad with the house Italianwhich was yummy. Then they brought out the bread.... it'll knock your socks off. Soooo good. We could've ate more. The entreeswere huge and delicious. Read more
