Staff was very nice! Food was at my table very quickly! The floors in the dining area HORRIBLE!!! I watched the busboy,... waitresses, front door host walk through the sea of large pieces of garbage on the floor. This was a complete eyesore the wholetime I ate. My presentation of food on my plate was beautiful but not seasoned at all. If I was supposed to request it, theserver should have mentioned it. Also, the shrimp was not cooked well or either it was a bad brand of shrimp. No one bothered toask me did I want dessert. The staff is what get my 2 stars. Read more
Went during the after Church rush. Took a bit to get a table (There were 10 if us so understandable) Same with ordering and... receiving our food. Again, understandable. The food was all fresh and tasty. And, large portions. The place is clean with agood atmosphere. Update: party of 12 arrived at different times. Good sized portions. Server was having a bad night. The vibe and food of Dry Dock were right on! My mom and I went to celebrate a family reunion. The staff were super friendly and... warming and just made us feel right at home. They had us in the main conference/wvent room that had plenty of space for us thatnumber about 30 or so. The waitress quickly brought out their amazing hush puppies that were shaped like union rings. They werepopping hot and I decided to get their flounder filet with a side of broccoli. The portion sizes are overwhelmingly large. Idouble checked with the waitress to make sure I got the regular versus the large. She ensured me that I got the regular and thatthe portions are just large. Wow! Super large, like Texas sized large. The food was good as well with everything being superfresh. The one disappointment was the broccoli that was overcooked. It was such a surprise as others broccoli was cooked superwell. I think because of how busy the restaurant was everything could not be evenly cooked. I would come back for more of theirfood, especially the coleslaw and hush puppies. The servers were very nice but the food is insanely bland and too greasy. There was no seasoning on the broiled fish, the... alfredo tasted like milk (bland), and the tomatoes on the salad were soft and goopy like they were going bad. First time here. Great service. Food was great too. I had flounder and it was good quality. Wife had salt n pepper catfish... and oyster combo. She said they were great. The sweet tea is how I like it - very sweet! The ?when you sit down? hush puppyrings will fill you up! I love them with the tarter sauce! Only way to improve: entrées weren?t very warm when they came. Server was busy so I think they sat for too long. Tea refills were watery since the pitchers sit and ice melts but our serverfixed that. First time ever coming here to eat. The service was really good, the food also came out pretty quick. The chicken was cooked... good and very juicy. I'd definitely come back and eat here again. If you're going thru Siler city make sure to stop in and checkit out. Read more
