Disappointed. First time there and spent $68. Food was not very good. Shrimp toast burnt. Gravy for egg foo young was thick and... pastey. Crab rangoons over cooked. Nice people but they may have been too busy with carryout to care for my food. As an addendumto my review, the owner contacted me immediately after seeing what I said. He was sincerely apologetic and offered me a partialrefund. It's not what I wanted or asked for. He went above and beyond normal customer service. For that, I will return and givethem another shot. We'd dined here before and enjoyed returning to this restaurant with a 4.2 rating. Obviously popular with customers that return... often, Emerald Garden offers a menu that's extensive with familiar Chinese dishes and also specialty items. While my buddy hada huge plate of fried rice, I selected the Orange Beef ????, crispy marinated meat accompanied by broccoli ???? and a tastysweet sauce. The usual bowl of white rice is included. Our appetizer was fried wonton with dipping duck sauce. The seating isimmediate and the table service is great ????. From the lemon water served in fancy pedestal glasses to the fortune cookie, diners are in for a treat ????. The prices are reasonable and the quantity and quality well worth the visit. Ni Hao ! We wound up here on accident because of a flat tire. While our car was being serviced we stopped in for dinner, and we were... incredibly pleased! Not only was the food amazing, the staff was so courteous and kind! They checked on us often, and they allseemed to have such good relationships with their other patrons! If i could press a negative star review i would! This place not only ripped me off, the food was horrible! The person over the... phone said i was able to order dinner specials, however when I arrived the bill was times 3. Then they informed me they dontoffer combos? Ordered Steak with Onion and scallion lunch special. VERY disappointed. Barely any beef, tast was OK thats for the extra star.... All onion and the fried rice had large white rice chunks that make me wonder if it was really fried rice or just sauce mixedin. Read more
Renovations happening during my visit, so atmosphere wasn't great. Food was OK and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly.
