We made a reservation for our hockey team. The service was amazing. Food was delicious. I definitely recommend eating here.

Arrived at 8:30pm and was told they closed at 9 and needed to order in 5 minutes. We ordered as soon as we sat down because the... owner stood above us, and we asked if the bar remained open. We were told last call was also at 9. We were rushed and notappreciated the entire time. The food was so greasy it was literally dripping?. The lo mein portion was also not right - theysaid it was a large portion, but it didn?t even feed 3 people. I?ve never before finished lo mein from a restaurant before!! Andwhile we were pushed out the door (literally by a bouncer that came into the dining room clapping his hands loudly at us), wecouldn?t help but notice that there was still a full bar of people (regulars?) that were staying in unhassled. The luncheon specials are great! There's enough for 2 meals and soup also comes with the special.
we had reservations last evening on New Year?s Eve for eight people for dinner. The reservations were made a week in advance.... When we arrived we were told we would be seated at two separate tables because that?s all they had available, that?sunacceptable when you?re going out for dinner with friends to be seated at different tables. The owner or manager whomever he iswas very rude not willing to help us in anyway walked off never came back to us to tell us if he had another table or not. Weended up leaving with no place to go being it was New Year?s Eve and everyone was booked. Ended up having to go home and havedinner, we were able to get takeout and at least and enjoy part of our New Year?s Eve. I would not recommend this place toanyone! Read more
Food was below average. Hot & sour soup was just loaded with vinegar. Ordered the three dish special. Didn't think rice would be... a separate charge. Orange chicken was average (mainly dough instead of chicken). Shrimp with snow peas was crazy salty withlikely salt as the base. Tasted like thickened salt water as the sauce. Asked for an extra bowl just so I could pour my icewater in it to dip (wash the salt) before eating. Did the same thing with their beef with eggplant as that was way too salty aswell. Had to waste food because my family & I just couldn't finish the food. This place seems to be catered to people who wantsto drink, hang out & play keno. Definitely not a "restaurant". Chumlee?s has been a family owned restaurant that has been serving Shrewsbury for many years. I believe there food is one of the... best Asian restaurants around. There aren?t too many places that still have good Chinese food that you remember having as a kid. Read more
