The atmosphere here is really nice. The seating space was kind of small, but not to the point where it was uncomfortable. I... ordered the cajun pasta with chicken. The chicken was cubed which means it was probably frozen chicken, but that did NOT takeaway from the flavor or quality of the meal. The waitress was also very nice. I will definitely be putting this restaurant on mylist of places to frequent and also recommend anyone who may be looking for a good meal that's worth their money to come here! Read more

Beyond disappointing experience. My family and I came to this restaurant today for brunch and we arrived at 10:30. When we... arrived they were not ?busy?. We ordered shortly after we arrived and was assured it would be out soon. The waitress was verynice and each time she passed by she made sure to advise it was almost complete. After waiting for almost an hour we askedanother waitress could we cancel our order; due to us not seeing our waitress. She says, with an attitude, ?you have to ask yourwaiter? and kept walking and never alerted our waiter. When our waiter does come to the table I advised her we?d like to cancelthe order. I let the manager know what happened with the other waiter and he seemed to care less. Do not get me wrong Iunderstand places are short staffed, which our waitress did advise us of, but when you see tables that came in AFTER we arrivedand people sitting at the bar getting their food BEFORE you that an issue. The manager as well as other workers were standing bythe bathroom chatting instead of helping since they were short staffed. Very disappointing experience. Read more

We stopped here on the way home to Tx from NOLA & what can I say: my daughter chose a good 1!!! EVERYTHING I ordered the BEST... dish on the menu: Redfish (Snapper) of course ???? WHENEVER it?s on the menu, I order! It?s my fav dish then crab cakes. Lacywas VERY nice & attentive. The place is practically brand new, fresh, clean & VERY elegant. The ambiance is EVERYTHING. Candice was the lifesaver for our experience at Windrush. At first we were told that there would be a 30 minute wait in which... we kind of thought maybe 45 minutes. An hour into waiting were told that a family that had come in earlier and put their name onthe list and left we're going to get the next available table.. The reason why this is upsetting is because we called to try tomake reservations and we were told they were not necessary. However, putting your name on the list and leaving and then comingback is equivalent to a reservation. After an embarrassing 15 minutes of back-and-forth they finally decided to sit us at thetable. I'm not sure if they were trying to bring all of our food out at the same time and that's the reason why our food wasextremely cold, or they were not happy with the back-and-forth and decided to punish us-either way it was ???? You see, we arenot the type to send food back because we know it may not come back the same way it went in. Oh, the $11 1 slice of bread-Avocado toast with a smear of creamed Avocado was absolutely ridiculous! Today I brought my neighbor out to celebrate her birthday and although they do not normally do the chocolate sacks for brunch,... they made an exception as it was her birthday! I appreciate the care and the service! Definitely will be back as the adult grillcheese sandwich with tomato/basil soup was delicious and the chocolate sack treat divine! Read more
