Reviews for Nicky's Mexican Restaurant in Shreveport, LA
the first day I went to them they did me well but the second I went they did me very bad & when I told the waitress about it,... she didn?t even try to fix it or make the cooks re cool this, but this is not how white Qauso Dip supposed to be. It?s notsupposed to be chunky and old looking/tasting. Read more
I really hate I didn't get to take pictures but the plating an portions were terrible.! I made the mistake of not checking... before I got home. It was barely any chicken in my enchiladas an almost no crawfish in the other enchiladas for the Mondayspecial I was so disappointed. Buyers beware Read more
I love this place. Always had good service and food. I come back here every time I?m in Shreveport. If your looking for... authentic food try the mochete. I think that?s how you say it. Just let them know you want the salsa that?s made in a mortar andpestle. Beware it?s very spicy but by far one of the best things I?ve had anywhere and all my Spanish friends ask where have Ihad it. Over all very good experience Read more
Oh my goodness!! I've been here before years and years ago with my parents and it was delicious then. Well this time for my... birthday my little family came. The hostess was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Our waitress was just as delightful! Myhusband planned on ordering the lunch #1 enchilada but I saw a gentleman at the next table with fajitas and mentioned it to myhusband so he got the lunch beef fajitas and I got the beef fajita enchiladas. My word it was out of this world yummy! Mydaughter adored their tortillas. Everything was homemade, hot, and fresh. Thank you all so much it was a wonderful birthdaylunch! Thank you again to the hostess she was such a sweet lady! Read more
The patio was very spacious and the live DJ was a great add on. We had a great time there I just didn't agree on the gratuity... that they automatically add on to your bill. Read more

Their food was fabulous. And I'm not even a fan of Mexican food! Can't wait to go back! Between the 3 of us, we had the Shrimp... Enchilada, Crawfish Nachos and the Enchilada Special. All we could discuss was how impressed we were with the different flavorswe were tasting. It took me a little bit to determine what I wanted. Glad I did. All of these were great ????. But I have tosay, my wife & son's Shrimp Enchilada was a little tastier than my Beef Enchilada. But I'm still impressed with the jalapeñosfrom the Crawfish Nachos! They didn't set me on fire. They were mild. I'm so glad. I like, not love jalapeños, but I hate theextreme heat that makes my nose, forehead and top of my head sweat like I just had a shower! These were flavorful and mildenough to really enjoy. The salsa for the chips however needed a little less heat. We brought some home and i discovered thatall it needed was a little salt to make it pop! The prices were normal @ $5.00-23.00 Deserts @ $5.00 and drinks @ $2.50each Overall an excellent restaurant! They've been there as a family owned and operated family oriented restaurant for over 40years! What other restaurant ???? do you know that's been around that long? It speaks to their quality, pricing andtastiness. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention, ask for your military discount if you're military. Read more
The food was great, and portions were huge! Our server was excellent and efficient. Gave the atmosphere 4 stars only because the... sports broadcasts were sorta loud, but it was a Friday night so that is to be expected. Read more
