It's been quite awhile since I've been to newks. It was really good before and it remains really good! The store was squeaky... clean and the decor was pleasant. I love the big reusable cups they offer with their beverages! The soup and sandwich wastasty and came to the table with a very short wait. The staff was friendly and effecient as well! I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. The cashier ask me if I wanted to get a cup of fruit that was included with the sandwich. I... ask him if there was an extra charge and he said no. He rang up 50 cents and i said I thought there wasn't a extra charge forthe fruit. He said there isn't. He continued ringing my ticket up and I looked at my ticket and said yes you charged me for thefruit. He said I just work here, I don't make the rules. I looked around and didn't see a manager and since I was meeting afriend there for lunch I didn't want to create a scene over 50 cents. Then I sit down to eat and I want to say that this was theworse chicken salad sandwich that I have ever eaten.
