The sauce is incredibly sweet and the pasta overcooked so much it is mushy. They put sweet ham on their mufelettas. When we... didn't eat our food the manager offered to go boxes. We explained that it was too sweet. She said that was the same recipe foryears. We told her we were tourists just here for a weekend trip and it was our first time. She just said that's too bad. Shedidnt offer to get us something else or issue a partial refund or anything. Over $70 for inedible food, no drink refills,plastic cutlery, and poor service. Never again! Read more

Sweet marinara isn't my type, but if you enjoy it definitely try it! I also had the alfredo pasta with grilled chicken, but the... chicken was unseasoned. The whole dish was just a little bland. However, the lasagna was pretty good, but the sweetness of thered sauce threw it off for me. The inside is really cool and pretty, but the service was a little bad even though it wasn't toobusy. Service is always courteous and casual with decent attentiveness. The food is classic Italian dishes with a few specialties. I... had the shrimp and eggplant but I usually get the shrimp aurora, both of which are house specials. For those that haven't beenhere, the special piece to this place is the homemade tomato sauce which has a helping of sweetness to it - though they do offerstandard tomato sauce and of course oil or Alfredo. My only qualms are they got rid of the 3 musketeers cake and the prices foreverything haven't risen very equally with inflation. They could stand to come down a smidgen. We always eat here when in town. For the past 20 years we have always highly recommend it to friends. No longer will we do that.... Our food was aweful. The muffaletta bread was over cooked and literally hard as a rock. I couldn't bite into it. Had to peel allthe bread off for fear it would break a tooth. This place is no longer what it used to be. I have always ordered my food curbside since 2020. I?m a regular and suddenly they ?don?t do curbside because covid isn?t around... anymore? yes covid is and so is another pandemic. I am disabled and they refused to do bring my order to curbside. I alsooffered to grab it from the door which is 3 feet from the register, they refused.
