The meal was good and their signature shrimp buster did not disappoint. The the double cheeseburger was an Old fashioned cooked... on the grill style cheeseburger. The place was full of History and character. Customer service was fantastic with a sense ofhumor, even though they were busy, and the food was delivered hot and fresh to our table very quickly. Visited for the 1st time this week from San Antonio Texas. First of all if you go during lunch you will be waiting for a table.... However the wait is 100% worth it. You are greeted with a smile and hello from the staff. The food was amazing.....Shrimp Busteris highly recommended....Homemade onion rings yummy....Thank you to the staff for welcoming us in to your home with suchwonderful southern hospitality. Read more
Phenomenal place to grab a bite while in town. The food and the service outstanding. We tried the crab salad and the platter... with gumbo and crawfish ettoufe absolutely delicious and good portions to share. I highly recommend this place. Read more
As a long time fan growing up in Louisiana but originally a Texans born native. I have to say after a long 25 years this place... is amazing. Awesome drinks, service, and food. I highly recommend any one from near and far to check this hidden gem out. Read more
Food was out of this world. Have to try the Pink Flamingo drink. Jim was one hell of a host and had great suggestions on what... first-timers would like and he was spot on. The place is some what out of the way but worth the experience. I had the Shrimp Buster and it was delicious! The staff was very... friendly and served in good time. I gave it 4 stars not 5 only because i like my onion rings with much more crust. That beingsaid I AM going back to try the gumbo. The place is very local and a pleasant surprise. Read more
Me and my wife had heard soooo many great things about Herby-K's but we've never been. What's even more crazy is that we're both... born and raised in Shreveport and this was our first time ever stepping foot in the restaurant. All I can say is that this placehas PHENOMENAL FOOD! We both had catfish plates and popcorn shrimp for our appetizer. I forgot to take a picture of the popcornshrimp appetizer, but it was just as amazing as the catfish. All of the food came out hot and fresh and the taste wasINCREDIBLE! We will DEFINITELY be returning because the Shrimp Po-boy looked like it was calling both of our names ???? ???????? Read more
