We hired Smokin Petes BBQ to cater our wedding this past January 2022. Troy and his team did such a great job communicating... every detail to us. They responded in a timely manner and were very professional on email and in person. Troy invited us to do ataste testing and we fell in LOVE. The food was so delicious and Troy was very helpful during the process to create our weddingmenu. The day of our wedding it was snowing and they showed up on time with a great team who was able to set everything up ontime for the reception. I recommend Smokin Pete's BBQ for any occasion. Smokin' Petes was there for me in my time of need big time. I woke up Thanksgiving morning to a turkey catastrophe and was at... risk for having no bird for the big day. I called Smokin' Petes up and they just so happened to have an extra smoked turkeyavailable for a very reasonable price. They even offered to heat it up for us. The turkey ended up being a delicious addition toour feast and they saved Thanksgiving dinner! Read more
Got their turkey dinner for six and placed an online order* I work 10 HR days so I couldn't respond with in their business hours... so I didn't even try. However I should have called anyway because I could have left a message which I ultimately did. Myexperience was amazing, and the food was outstanding. The * above, the online ordering is a older system that exists because ithas to, these guys cater delicious food they don't host and monitor websites. That being said, after I placed the order theycalled me a few times because I had additional nutrition based questions but they called me which I both appreciate as acommunication attempt and loathe as a post pandemic human. Regardless, they were direct and knowledge, as in they could answermy question and showed they wanted my business. These are all good things. The only, only con or negative was we couldn't makesmall adjustments however once I saw how it all worked I was instantly aware of way... But they had hot cider for pick up sothat won me back. We catered in BBQ for my birthday, the classic BBQ Selection. Julie, the owner, was great to work with. Easy and prompt... communication by email and phone, very thorough and friendly. The food arrived exactly on time, the staff were professional andfriendly. Most importantly the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. This is the second time trying their take out during the Covid shut down. First off they have a nice and friendly staff. When it... comes to the food well that?s a different story. The quality of the meat is very inconsistent. Some parts were very dry othersa bit juicer then a large amount way too fatty. Today I got the brisket and half of it was inedible due to all the fat present.The overall flavor was lacking, little to no crust and no smoke ring visible. Last time I ate the ribs and was equallydisappointed. Hopefully they can improve the quality and flavor a bit. I would love to support a local spot but not until someimprovements are made. Ordered for Thanksgiving. Great experience from start to finish. Couldn't get through on the phone so sent an email, got both a... return call and email within an hour. Food was ready on time for pick-up. Everyone there was super nice and helpful even thoughthey were swamped. Turkey was excellent as were the sides and the pie, everything tasted homemade in the best way. Willdefinitely use again. The new location is super convenient...hoping they will have a Christmas menu too! Read more
