The person at the counter was super nice and the food is delicious! Their spicy sauce isn't too salty which i feel like is a... problem at some other teriyaki spots - and their house special is delicious! I've gotten that and their beef yakisoba which Iasked to be spicy as well and the flavors went perfectly together. Also very well portioned! I live in Everett, drove all the way to shoreline to try out this teriyaki spot because a friend had recommended it. It?s... currently a Saturday on google it states they are open but they are definitely closed. I understand it?s Labor Day weekend. ATLEAST update your hours. It takes two seconds to change your business hours if you?re going to end up being closed. Save peoplethe inconvenience by taking the time to update your hours. Google even asks you if you?re going to be open for Labor Dayweekend. Leaving a one star review out of frustration of the business owners being too lazy to take 2 minutes to update thebusiness hours. I eat here atleast once a week, they have great tasting food, portions are good size, the employees are very nice and hard... working. I think that it is family owned and I love to help businesses like them! Read more
best hole in the wall I've ever found. i LOVE the food so so much!! I always get the bento box with the chicken teriyaki, gyoza,... and then a side of shrimp tempura + veggies. I do wish the space for dining was a bit cleaner tho Read more
I love Ichi Bento! My favorite place to get chicken katsu. Ask for extra sauce, and make sure you bring your appetite!!
Ichi Bento is a quintessential example of what makes teriyaki places in the Seattle area so great. The owners are friendly, the... portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Even though I have lived here most of my life, I am always grateful thatthese mom-and-pop restaurants exist. The chicken teriyaki and the chicken katsu I had were both excellent. The teriyaki had anice salty, umami coating of the teriyaki sauce and the chicken katsu was perfectly fried. The katsu had no greasiness at alland it had a wonderfully crispy coating with every bite. Really good food, much bigger portions than I was expecting! They even poke holes for steam to escape so the crispy food stays... crispy when you get takeout! The bento boxes were awesome!
