Great Tasting Food, Waitresses Are Really Respectful and Kind, prices are a little high, selection is decent. They had buffet 2... meats and about 6 sides. We decided to stop in after a afternoon of Shiner Brewery tour. Great German food! Recommend stopping in as they also had great... appetizers and other food options such a chicken fried steaks and ribeyes! Read more
I don?t like to complain about service, but last Sunday my kids wanted to go eat breakfast at Werner?s and it has been our worst... experience ever. I was hesitant of going as we had not been in a year due to a previous experience. When we arrived at 8:45 ittook about 20 minutes for our drinks to come out and our order to be taken. When our food finally came the majority of thehashbrowns were burnt, the sausage was cold, and when we asked for ketchup the waitress (Kim) grabbed a container (they use theto-go cups for ketchup) off of the table behind. That is just plain disgusting. We finally left the restaurant almost 2 hourslater (for breakfast). Read more
We normally have a great experience when visiting Werners! But the service was very slow and then the food was not what we... remembered from past visits. Tables were not bused for extended periods of time. One item we ordered didn?t qualify as asandwich since the meat was only half size of bun (the way it was served). Not that we won?t be back, cause we will. Just hopethey can get it together again! Read more
The restaurant was unappealing. We ordered a water but it tasted awful. We ordered the gourmet grilled cheese and the old... fashioned grilled cheese. They were ok. The fries were flavorless. I don't recommend this place. Drive to Halletsville and stopat Jalisco's instead. Read more
FOOD POISONING!!!! Within an hour of eating here, we were both vomiting... This was our first meal today. I had the hamburger... steak, and my wife had a hamburger. Must be bad meat... Won't be back!! Read more
