It was our first visit to Local Public Eatery and I must say that we were impressed. It was quite busy for lunch on Friday, but... it was a beautiful day and the atmosphere of the place was great. Our server was quite busy, but provided some great service andsuggestions. The food was very delicious. My wife enjoyed the blackened chicken sandwich, even though she initially was worriedthat it was going to be too spicy, she said it was perfectly seasoned and had great flavour. I had that crispy chicken sandwichand it was full of flavour. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings for our meals. Our drinks were good as well, but foundthat there was too much ice and not enough drink in the Blue Crush, and that their Old Fashioned lacked some flavour. Thisknocked down my review by 1 star. I called to order a pick up order, first person to answer hung up on me mid saying hello. Called back and ordered the Ceasar... salad with blackened chicken. When I arrived they told me the order didn't exist then after a bunch of confusion found it. AndI've never ordered this item before but is the lettuce supposed to be in full pieces? Thank goodness I asked for cutlery becauseit wasn't given and it would have been difficult to cut my own lettuce and eat by hand. Only saving grace was that the mealitself tasted good. Middle of the road food at high prices. Fries weren't crispy on any of the 3 dishes. The grilled cheese was literally 2... hamburger buns with what looked like a Kraft single in between. Like, it's a pandemic, if you can't get the actual ingredients,call the number on the order and let me know, but to have that Unhappy Meal surprise? Less than ideal. Fish for the Fish N Chipswas okay, lack of seasoning in the batter. The crispy chicken sandwich was good, the Pierogis were good, the starter chickenwings were crispy and had good seasoning but uneven, the hot honey sauce was well balanced. Read more

Always go to the local for my burger fix. They've got a good selection and recently I tried the truffle burger and will never go... back. Everything there is great. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful and the food really good. Be warned though,everyone knows how good this place is so you will wait in line to get in and will wait for your service as they are very busy.But it will be worth it I promise. Read more
